Bro I think the AFM technology will fix the check engine light? It should allow you to use all 8 cylinder full time instead going back to 4 cylinder mode.

hey man great video. Quick question I'm looking to add this exact system to my Zl1 1LE. As well as Headers and a cold air intake upgrade. Do you know if this system comes with variable valve control so you can make it quiet for cops, neighbors etc?

only one that has the slots for the valves are Borla and magna flow i beleive.

I had a full corsa setup on my 17 Mustang GT and it was loud. Anyone who tried recording it with their phones mic broke 🤷🏻‍♂️ I had 1-7/8ths castles longtubes with corsa extremes catback. I love corsa amazing brand but I don’t think I want that loud anymore. Nearly hit 130 decibels.. like why..

Bro im trying to get a x pipe and no one sells just the x pipe except for flowmaster, with the AFM its 730 without its 320... i need to find a way to go without the AFM withtout a check engine light

GamingWithAstev the easiest and cheapest way to do it is of course cut out all the stock valve parts (4) AFM/NPP. If you get a check engine light just connect the actuators and zip tie them up. You can tune them out with HP Tuners.

Auto is faster, sure, but generally, the point of a car like this is fun (if you wanted the fastest Camaro, you'd go for the ZL1, but if you want the most fun Camaro, in my opinion, you go for the SS.) But the OP has to drive in his area, and if you live in a congested, bumper to bumper area, it can definitely be a pain. My SS was a manual (and the one I'm ordering now is, too) but that's only because I'm rarely in bumper to bumper traffic. You've got a great car - keep up the vids!

What in the world, those valves do not, I repeat do not have anything to do with your motor dropping cylinders. Our motors don't drop cylinders for fuel consumptionbro. If your Camaro has the npp system those valves adjust the flow and sound of the factory or aftermarket exhaust. Regardless of that good video.

6th Gen AUTOS have AFM (Active fuel Management) When engaged the car drops to 4CYL to save gas. There are FOUR Valves on the stock exhaust (if you have NPP). Two NPP Valves in the rear near the muffles, then two further up towards the middle of the car (AFM). The AFM valves have plating that turns to adjust the flow within the exhaust. The NPP opened/closed for sound. There's a difference between the two.
