Okay, but I low-key appreciate the flip. It shows that they were actually able to fall in love with each side of each other so when they finally do get together it won't seem toxic.

Marinete really gains a LOT of confidence as Ladybug, she has barely started to like Cat Noir and has already worked up the courage to confess to him, while in her civilian form she has been trying to confess for four seasons, and Adrien will still take a little while from what we saw in the trailers.

This episode was a milestone...Luka and Kagami interacted for the first time! It may not be much but it made me very happy, they were always together in the same place but never interacted, never, and they are my favorite ship so that's why i was really looking forward to this episode and their moment was really fun, they got along well and got together pretty easy.

It's not so surprising to see Adrien feel something for Marinette since that's been building for at least some time now, and it's nice to see it come to fruition (Adrien wanting to confess and admitting he's in love with her), but what I *REALLY* loved about this flip is Marinette finally *finally* *FINALLY* starting to appreciate Chat Noir and actually realizing that he's been there for her THIS WHOLE TIME. Y'all, the Marichat ship is finally sailing and it only took...what 7 years? In any case, I'm here for it and ready to set sail with it!

Unpopular opinion: I’m fine with the love square flipped and I go a reason, I think it’s nice to have a little different concept. Don’t worry people, they still love each other, they just don’t know they are the same person yet. So, why not see something a little different like flip the love square? I like to see different and unique things in shows and not really the exact same concept through out the whole show. Marinette stalking Adrien and Adrien sees Marinette just a friend, Cat Noir flirting with Ladybug and Ladybug rejects him, over and over again. And, I don’t think it wouldn’t be so toxic anymore, because if they reveal on who they are, they might realise they flipped the love square and actually fallen in love with each other. Does anyone get what I mean? Or no?

I think it was puppeteer 2 because he thought he lost marinette, and that made him finally start to realise how much she actually means to her.

When Adrien said he started feeling differently about Marinette at the Museum, I think he meant that was the time he noticed he felt something differently about her, not that he started liking her. I don’t know if this can actually be true or I just wish this because I ship Adrinette, but I feel when Adrien and Marinette first met, he seemed to look at her differently and care a little more about her than the others and didn’t notice his feelings before because he thought they were just really close. Adrien could have just thought that because she was his first “confirmed” friend which makes her extra special to him than his other friends (even Nino!), and the way their relationship started out as friends could have confused his feelings. With Kagami, they weren’t friends before and did not have a connection prior to meeting for the first time, so it was much clearer to Adrien that he had feelings for her. I could be wrong and just a crazy fan that badly wishes this were true, but who knows 🤷‍♀️😅

They didn't write it well 😭 the trailers seemed like it would be a literal 4 line conflict or something. Marinette's character is WAYYY off around Chat Noir, it's too abrupt. There should definitely be a lot more of them feeling confused, like the song Lenni Kim and Lou sang

I will admit that despite it being one of those things that were expected, I think it’s actually a good idea, because if it didn’t happen then we would’ve thought that Adrien only loved Marinette as being Ladybug and for Marinette only loved Cat Noir being Adrien, which is pretty messed up. So I think that reversing the love square is actually a good plot to make Adrien and Marinette’s relationship not so toxic and one sided. I think deep down obviously Adrien still loves Ladybug and Marinette with Adrien, but they are both trying different experiences on getting to know more of the other alter ego. So I know it’s pretty confusing, but at least, it’s being realistic and not always one sided. So that’s my opinion :) But I can’t wait for the other episodes!

Loved the episode and the love square flip, but I also feel like they still have feelings the other way around, if that makes sense. Like the original love square still exists for them as Marinette still has some feelings for Adrien and Adrien still has feelings for Ladybug, and I would assume that this becomes an issue later on in the season. Also I felt really bad for Marinette too in that scene. She probably feels that way because she now feel in love with the person that she has been rejecting. Maybe she still thinks that she also cannot be in love with Cat Noir because of what happened in "Cat Blanc".

It seems Thomas is really good at giving the audience what they want (minus a Chloe redemption arc) but in THE worst possible ways. Which YES! When I started watching this show, I was rooting for Marichat because that relationship was the most natural to each person and had no rose colored glasses. Then came Elation and those cringe feelings came back. Haven’t felt that in six years. But it serves as an important stepping stone to accept each other in both identities, not finding out and only dating their alter ego because it’s connected to the “perfect” person they love. We’ll have to see more future episodes to see this progress. I look forward to the chaos and romance the writers have come up with.
