Such a great run. "Oops all sixes" is possibly my favorite card in the game so far. And IMAGINE if he had gotten the lucky cat on this run! He would have flown straight past the moon and into the Asteroid Belt!!!!

With the odds now remixed, the luck that would follow you wouldn't remise. Polychrome and a shining dome, the cards that were shown had all our mind's blown. Now a throwback joker? Behold, the king of poker! As NL takes his throne!

9:20 the reason people say to reroll down to your interest cap is that rerolls get more expensive each time you do it in shop. You should be rerolling each shop to make use of the cheap rerolls and if you are making enough money to be over the interest cap significantly then you can start adding in an additional reroll each shop. If you save all of your money until the last shop you will blow it all on expensive rerolls and get way less value out of it.

As a friendly reminder to everyone watching. When you’re upgrading your hands. Do pay attention in run info on what is your strongest hand. Seeing NL ignore his strongest hand, a Full House, the entire game was maddening.

My second run to get to ante 13 was a double-Hallucination (1 hallucination eventually got replaced with Blueprint) + Oops All 6s + negative Lucky Cat run where I eventually found the legendary joker that likes it when you destroy face cards, and I used Oops All 6s combined with glass cards to make that easier to happen. I eventually replaced Oops All 6s with The Family, in the late game, but it took a while.

I kept 1 of the hallucinations to the very end, because it got Polychrome'd by a wheel of fortune, and it was still pretty good with Blueprint, even without Oops All 6s

Spending on rerolls throughout the game is cheaper than holding the money for rerolls later, since the reroll cost resets with each ante. You’ll have a better understanding of yoyr deck and what jokers you need later on, but it will cost a lot more to reroll in fewer antes.

at 15:14 I believe with that boss your hand can actually go over your max size so discarding 1 card at a time to draw a bunch, 1 card for 3 more, is actually the best way to do it

My best run I’ve had so far was a lucky card build with like 5 negative jokers that all gave multiplier to mult and two copies of the ‘copy a joker’ one copying the cat that multiplied based on how many lucky cards have hit. Then I filled the deck with lucky A’s with the retrigger seal. Needed a few more specific jokers for better scaling but hit ante 15

You've missed the fact that NL doesn't really care about KZfaq at all and doesn't even make playlists anymore. So the chance of him making two different playlists is basically zero. :( My tip for knowing the difference between YT vids and Twitch VODS is generally to check the length. Twitch VODs are usually way longer because he spends 70% of the video ranting.

hey ah, minor tip. at 15 minutes (the serpent) you can go over the stated hand size because you "always" draw three cards. please try discarding one card at a time then making your hands.

Yo NL, love the Balatro vids, so much so that I got the game for myself. Anyways, question for anyone who might know the answer, on one of my runs I had blue print and misprint (lucky early blueprint) and I swear to god when I set blueprint to copy misprint it would do a consistent +20 mult and misprint would do like +24. I looked it up and didn’t find anything from a glance over and I’m wondering if I was hallucinating, or maybe some other joker I had was doing the work and I just didn’t realize. So finally to my question, was I indeed hallucinating? Or is this a known kinda thing and I just don’t know how to google.

I am almost certain cards have weightings that tie them together. In runs it does seem like synergies occur at rates above random.
