Because shoplifting is a misdemeanor and can be anywhere between 30-90 days and that’s why most homeless people shoplift. So they can get off the streets in the winter or if they need somewhere else to stay

Appreciate it! He had surgery on his tibia today. It hasn’t healed at all since the accident unfortunately. He’ll be in a splint for 2 weeks then a hard cast after that. Should be the last surgery for a while we hope. Once that heals, he should be getting his prosthetic & be out of the wheelchair. 🙏🏼
