One additional point from the book that I think is one of the most valuable concepts to understand is thinking big expands consciousness so much that the ideas and the actual steps required to become successful unfold naturally. Thinking big creates the ideas. Thinking big finds the solutions. Thinking big carves the path to success. So important to understand this fundamental aspect of this incredible book. Once you start thinking big the steps needed to get you where you want to be appear as if by magic. You start seeing opportunities where you never have before. In fact, you start seeing opportunities all around you.....it's quite amazing but you have to THINK BIG! Oh and, not for five minutes, don't expect thinking big to change your life in an instant. Think big for a week straight and see what happens. You will be shocked. Great video and a great channel!!!

Wow, ure starting early! All the best. Be optimistic, but realistic too. Persevere but work in the right direction: change your track as needed. View obstacles as ways to improve or figure out how to get to the result. These are some of the things I loved from this amazing challenge. And I'm 21 years old. So u definitely have time to reach there. ^_^ I'll try my best too.

Alex Stefanov I think you took what I said too literally. What I meant is in general is your project going to be something that people will stop and look at. Even if it's a small amount of people (hardcore fans). Microsoft doesn't have to do that. They've already got the brand recognition to make people stop and look. However starting back they didn't and they _had_ to attract people by making products that were truly interesting to build that brand recognition.

Valery Emvolo Well you gotta dream big in order to go out and make it happen, otherwise, there's no hope. The odds of becoming successful are much higher with a positive/think BIG mindset, so prioritizing this first step is crucial.

I definitely agree with you Edward! what I was saying is , some people have goals, a positive Mindset but never actually work upon achieving those goals. And I am the perfect example, I was dreaming and planning for years lying on my couch lol, But when I decided to go out there and work my ass off in order to realize what I wanted, that's when my journey actually started..and YES, prioritizing on your dreams first is crucial, I agree.

I would like to add a thought to the statement you made about "kids being an excuse". I do agree that there is some truth in this, and that many "excuse makers" can and will use their children as an excuse for them not achieving more. However, children are not always just an excuse. Take my life for example... I got married at 19 and we had our first child by 20. We then had our second child not long after that. During that time I was still going to school as well as working multiple jobs to take care of my small and growing family. When I graduated I took a mediocre job with low salary potential right out of college. In comparison I had the opportunity to have taken a much better job with nearly twice the salary. The reason for my decision? My kids! The jobs were night and day different with my time requirements. Money will come and go, success can come and go, but time only happens once! My kids will only be small once! So I chose to sacrifice success (temporarily) and place my time in getting to enjoy my kids while they are small. In this example I fully intend to return back to my quest for success, although I know some people never do! I know excuses are excuses... But there are also substitutes to being successful financially. For now, I am very successful in my time and life with my children. I know you probably know this, as each and every story has a different perspective. I like your stuff! Keep up the good work!

My dad never believes in me and keeps on shooting down whatever idea I'm coming up, saying there's no way I'll ever accomplish anything, and that's why I constantly have issues with him and fight him all the time. I try to make him think bigger, but he's probably never going to change his mindset. As he is still trying to convince me to think small, get a job, start a family, retire, I'm still going to fight his ideals because I want more and I believe I can do more (yeah I'm greedy af). I used to take my dad's words and got really depressed and did not believe in myself for the last 20 years, but now I finally know how to tweak this thinking into positive energy. Every time my dad tries to warn me of the danger of wanting more than a 9-5 job, I'll just think that deep down he is trying to train me to prepare to face failure and criticism from others, and I'll be more careful, but I'm not going to quit thinking bigger and bigger.

Finally!!! a video that touches on the "because I've got kids" excuse. I love the part when the narrator says, "there are plenty of guys with more kids than you... who still figured out a way." Let me add that the biggest turn off for an employee/business partner is to work with/for someone who keeps excusing falling behind on projects "because of kids". If that's a tangible reason, then I've got my own tangible reason to part company. Simply put: "Because of my big dreams, I cannot sacrifice the speed of my progress for your tangible excuses." This has nothing to do with not being loyal, fighting or holding a grudge. It is simply a matter of becoming aware about how I invest my time & energy. Those are the biggest investments and I must invest those on people & things that match my level of thinking and believing. 😎

I'm so glad you used 'burden of children' excuse! Children excuse can go both ways.. one example is what you have said about you uncle, and the other is 'oh look at my kids.. they are my success story!' These parents bend over backwards for them only to end the day with a storm cloud over their heads wishing that was them instead of their own kids. ( Go to a Little League game today ;) ) Folks must learn the value of their own worth and not let a spouse or kids give them that false sense of worth. Fight the Thanksgiving kiddie table punishment single succesful people! You are always worth the adult table!
