I think this is great advice. However, if the REAL reason is that they only want to ask for 50/50 and pay less, they are not going to admit that.

The law says 50/50. WHY are we even talking about that? WHY this is not a starting point of any discussion?

Women just let it go to trial if the husband doesnt agree to giving her everything. A female judge usually gives her what she wants if she has children. I know this first hand. Young men are told they should get half.

My ex doesn't work and has been very difficult in the negotiations process. In fact she refuses to do mediation, she plays the cat and mouse game trying to delay everything. She's very manipulative. She wants to go to court and let the judge decide. Well we've been in court and all she does is throw in false accusations on how I'm blocking her from doing a refinance and how she can't refinance because I took out a 2nd mortgage when I didn't do such thing. She's all over the place and I can't seem to get anything done. I don't know what else to do beside pay big $$$ for an attorney

hello: i had to file for parenting time in 2020 and hire an attorney, we came to an agreement thru mediation joint custody he had him every other friday 3:30-tuesday 8, up until sep 2021, on sep 2021 he got a new job and wasnt goin to be able to have him monday and tuesday , so i told him to write me on paper or email his reasons so we didnt have to make those changes thru the court and protect myself ,he did sent that email, but now he served me papers on feb 11 2022 he wants all weekends and have his child support reduce from 316 to 241dlls due to job changes , and going back to school, will a judge grant him all weekends im scare that he will take my weekends away because of those changes, my son lives with me i am his main caregiver he doesnt help at all but just his every other weekend i might add he has a new gf , and im so afraid to lose my weekends with my son any help?

@@kg9105 he made me look bad in court saying lies to the judge about me,the judge saw thru it and gave me full custody of my son , and still have my weekends with him, he did get the child support reduce tho from 316 to 289, but because the judge in a way force him to spend dinner time with him during the school week, and more time during the summer

@@kg9105 if you are goin thru a situation like this , gather as much evidence as you can, i scheduled 3 appointments with an attorney and he would just answer my questions but i did no retain one, that only helped me to learn , what to and not say , what evidence are judges looking for , etc etc
