Lets hope Corbyn's lot never get the opportunity to ruin this greatest of English sporting pastimes. I have enjoyed shooting for over 40 years and my son has followed suit. Belvoir must rank among the icons of sporting estates. Long may it continue. Enjoy your shooting videos Dave and keep up the good work spreading the word on the positive aspects of shooting providing a major benefit to conservation and remote communities that rely on what is a major "industry" in the countryside.

Love watching all your films some great camera work not to mention some great shooting. See you were trying out some dark storm 34g 5's that seems quite a heavy load for partridges but is that purely because of the long distances you are shooting them at I have used the dark storm 28g 6.5's and they are mustard but not at the range you are bringing them down. Look forward to your next film hope we dont have to wait too long

Dave, I know you and I have touched swords before. I love your films, hate your acuracy, but admire what you do. As I may have said, I come from Suffolk years ago. Lots of family days, mostly wild game. My question is, how do we get these monied commercial guns back into the realms of appreciating the sport rather than the numbers? Back in Soffolk in 1975/76 we had fowl pest that virtually wiped out pheasants and partyridges. Yet, on 7 or 8 occasions, I shot on farms or small estates where 7 or 8 of us turned up in tweeds and had days where we were told, no pheasant or partridge. A crack at the odd duck, a pigeon, a rabbit, a fox 'please, if you can'. We had lunch, a few bevies, great company and tipped the part time keeper. My game book for one day. 8 guns. 2 pheasants (Err dogs?) 4 pigeons, 2 woodcock, 1 teal. But, god we had fun. Sorry! and good luck to you!

Unfortunately to me this is the reason shooting has slipped into the press with anti shooting organisations ...... This is an industry run by very very rich people ...... Yes the conservation aspect is there but it's not a poor mans estate......I admire you bringing to the main stream and the videos are always to a highest standard but I fear the worst

I agree in your statement to some degree, the reason i try to get on the big estates is to show the rest of the shooting world whether they are well spoken rich folk or out and out snobs!! they all love the countryside and wish the same as us "for it to carry on" we have to mend the divide and all act as one !! or we are toast

camera angle and of course auto safety is always on, but well spotted

OK. Thanks for the answer. I know camera angles can be misleading on video - but never trust the safety :-)

Very impressive, it’s too bad that it lacks diversity.

Nothing to do with healthy whatnot. It is pure Shikar ! A pity leopards and bears are not driven out with partridge jungle fowl peacocks khaleej and their like. The lost paradise that once was my home.

Communism will never reign again, if you want to proliferate the countryside with drug dens and thousands of the idle skint instead of the very few idle rich jog on

@@ardentizzy7720 a generalisation but you know what I mean, you obviously prefer concrete and tarmac to beautiful countryside, what a great idea!! your comments stink of “the” (them and us syndrome), I worked down the pits so I’m probably more entitled to feel like that than you are!! Anyway comrade happy new year 😉
