Can't disagree. I was 9 when Pokémon got popular with red/blue. Not really into Pokémon anymore as an adult but I've played most of them anyway and Platinum is my favourite even though it has no nostalgia for me.

Pokemon X was my real introduction to the series, so I have a lot of nostalgia for it. Although not my favourite, it's still a great game. Recently however, I started Pokemon Y and it sucks.

John West Am I the only one who enjoyed Generation 8! It’s not as good as some of the others but I still enjoy it and consider them to be good buys for the Switch, the national dex not being included isn’t even horrible either, you don’t use half the Pokémon in the national dex, the only bad part of it being cut imo is that they chose some mediocre Pokémon instead of the great ones, thanks for coming to my TEDTalk

Like everything from soulsilver, platinum, diamond, pearl being shit in comparison, omega ruby being fun but in the middle, emerald and crystal being hella fun, white 1 being the better one and then getting black 2 instead of white 2. @matt fahringer I've got an Emerald story for you as well my friend. After I caught a 1% Wailord, I decided to hunt another 1% for the lols. Chimeco to be exact. I looked for hours and before the darn thing appeared, a shiny shuppet sparked before. Then I found the chimeco. Pokémon is great hahaha

I will always thank gen 7 for FINALY getting rid of HMs for good. I hated HMs so much that it makes it hard for me to want to go back and play the older gens. Especially gen 4. Soul Silver would be my GOAT by a huge margin if it didn't have HMs.

nope don't waste money on a switch, get an ds lite with a GBA slot and get emerald, platinum or black/white. Heartgold/soul silver and firered/leafgreen are also really good. Main benefit is with that one ds you can play every single game I just listed, and if you wanna do any of the trade stuff buy another and you're set

To be honest, I really enjoyed sword and shield, a lot more than other games. Although there is negatives like the dex being cut, they are really well designed and I found a lot of positives. Just imo though.

I don't understand the big hate for pokemon swsh. Yeah ok, you can dislike it but some people are exagerating. There were great Pokemons (Snom, Sobble, Fossils ) and the story was neat. (Except Team Yell) I respect other peoples opinion but you need to explain why? (Thank you for reading)

Also, even the Main team was good, sure they are average, but they are way better than some old teams, like team galactic (who is trash and the worst villains in the franchise) or team magma and aqua

@@gionnibravo2907 For people who have played the entire series (like me) it is a big step in the wrong direction. Those are the people the negative opinions come from. There's only one good new idea in the entire game which is the wild area. The story is even more half-assed than usual. The villain isn't even remotely memorable. And the Pokemon are ok at best. I hope this explains some things.

I have so many hours on diamond from when I was a kid in summer camp. We would just 1v1 Al day and then we got our hands on shark cards and it was all over after that. We basically had a comp league of 10 year olds 😂

I must admit that it kinda hurt when you "murdered" Pokemon Blue, as that was my first Pokemon Game back in 1999, that still works to this day by the way. But then I saw the rest of the list and I mostly agree with it. As of the Pokemon Go tier list, I think Mystic and Instinct should go down a bit more.

Red and Blue can be played on a Game Boy Silver and Gold on Game Boy Color Ruby and Sapphire on Game Boy Advance Fire Red and Leaf Green also on GBA Diamond and Pearl on Nintendo DS Black and White including Black 2 and White 2 also on Nintendo DS X and Y on 3DS Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire on 3DS Sun and Moon on 3DS Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon on 3DS Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee on Switch Sword and Shield on Switch If you don't have these devices, you can play on emulators.
