The Major is the staple of a good mad man, his madness is driven by a goal that can be understood by a sane person. However, 15:35 is just a complete misunderstanding of the character and shows a lack of understanding of the word hypocrisy. You can't call a person a hypocrite by your standards, as a person is a hypocrite if they betray their own standards.

So, one of the things that sets Millenium Vampires apart from Real Vampires is that Millenium Vampires cannot create new vampires. Does that mean the Cheddar Priest was the only Real Vampire opposed to Hellsing, or were the couple that Alucard and Seras face also Real Vampires? Alucard implies that they aren't, because they aren't powerful enough. Interestingly enough, Alucard says that giving up on life is what gets people killed, and that Seras's refusal to give up on life is what gave her the right to become a vampire. Integra says something similar about the Millenium Vampires, with the opposite message - they couldn't bear the weight of their own humanity, so chose to become vampires instead (sort of in-line with the Major's thinking that vampires can only steal humanity, and that he is above them because he has his own humanity). And of course Anderson correctly points out that most vampires are Death Seekers in his famous "demons don't cry" speech. But of course, Integra points out that the Major, for all his talk of being driven by his humanity, has none. Contrast that to Seras, a vampire who even after reaching her full power, doesn't seem to give up on her humanity, refusing to drink the blood of Zorin in an effort to make sure that her soul doesn't become diseased.

Marvelous Anime: The worst monsters aren't ghouls, vampires, or werewolves, it's humanity. Trust me, it's ALWAYS humanity. I once told myself this; "A person's greatest enemy is one's self. A group's greatest foe is each other. The greatest criminal of humanity is humanity itself." Simply put, take any small or big number and divide it by ITSLEF. You get 1. And what better example of 1 than "one's self"? So yeah... Glad to run into this video since I am a big fan of Hellsing anyway.
