The chantecaille single shadows live rent free in my brain. Especially the giraffe and elephant shades, they're just so stunning and really exude luxury imo. But $56 for one eyeshadow is just not something I've been able to justify yet

Kiko Milano has some single eyeshadows that give really similar vibes. 12.99 on Ulta’s website! I’ve been holding off on the Chantecaille ones due to the price but they are stunning!

If anyone is lusting over the chantecaille singles, the Kiko Milano water eyeshadows might be for you, I have two of them, theyre an absolutely BEAUTIFUL baked formula and blend incredibly. I have one called pearly coffee which is this beautiful nuanced deep cool brown that sheers out more purple-y which mayyy be similar to elephant. Over all they seem to be the exact same type of shadow and the surface also has beautiful dynamic embossing that gives it a feeling much more lux than the price. I recommend checking them out! Xx

I've been following your channel for about a year now and I have to say that it has become the only makeup content I consume (and I used to be reaaaally into the beauty community on YT). I find your videos so relaxing to watch and I love the concept and mission of your channel! It's so necessary and clever! It makes me appreciate so much the makeup I have and because of your videos I'm free of the anxiety to constantly own new makeup. I've been so mindful with my spending lately and so happy to own less and love what I own. Yesterday I got Space Cowboy in the mail after months of deliberation whether to get it (upon your recommendation) and it's the most special eyeshadow I own! First thing I did today was use it for a 1-shadow look and I looked STUNNING. It's made even more special, because it wasn't an impulse purchase! I absolutely love the Chantecaille Elephant eyeshadow out of all my Chantecaille shadows. I bought the Nana & the Ami Colé & love them both. I haven’t tried the Merit yet. I’ve been able to teach my daughter about the green color corrector bc of u and I love a subtle blush. This video was awesome! I absolutely love your taste in colors. I really enjoyed this video! It's kind of the payoff to the setup of a declutter in that it's what happened when you culled your collection down enough to see the things you love and have the opportunity to use them, which is very (for lack of a better word) narratively satisfying. It was also really encouraging to see that a collection of ten items could be the core of a collection; even with your bent towards loving the beautiful things you already own instead of the standard appreciation for newness, someone who works with makeup for a living will never be able to have as few pieces as someone who doesn't can reasonably keep, and this edit of your mainstays is a way to illustrate the idea of that non-professional collection from within a professional one. I got the Exa green color corrector last week and it, on its own and very blended out, is the best, most long-lasting concealer that I've used. I would have never thought to use it that way if it weren't for your repeated praise of it. Thank you!

Loved the video. Purchased the Chantecaille mascara, used it a couple of times and put it away. Now I'm using it again and it's so wet and dark and a little gloppy, I'm really loving it. and I think it's what certain Europeans I know would wear.

First, I just want to say, I came to your channel for the fashion and stayed for the makeup. I am interested in makeup for the first time in my life in no small part because of you. Before I found your channel, I got the 2021 Chantecaille Advent calendar as my Christmas gift to myself and every single item is special. As you know, the makeup is luxurious, but I can't wait until you try their skincare; it's exceptional. The liquid phytoactive exfoliant, the bio lifting serum, the anti aging eye cream, and the gold mask were standouts for me, and I will purchase them again as soon as my budget allows. FYI some of my favorite face creams that you might like are from an Italian boutique company called L'Erbolario. Their products are sold in the US via a shop called The Herbarium. I routinely purchase the Delicalma and Hyaluronic Acid face creams. I am waiting to go to Italy to stock up at the lower euro price but even the imported price is reasonable.

I watch hauls and favorites videos, and part of my process is to click the links and “add-to-cart” all of the things that spark interest, although I’ve been really conscientious about not buying. Most items just stay in the cart forever until they get deleted. But this… this delicious little decadent sampler of exquisite beautiful things has really hit me. It’s a strange dichotomy, to have the Queen of the No-Buy trigger such intense shopping lust. Between the eyeshadows and all 3 lip products, I’m gone! Time to put the phone down and step away…

i loved this video and would love more like it! the only request/suggestion i’d have is maybe adding in a visual of times you’ve worn a certain product, with overheads even with swatching it can never give a true sense of how something looks on, so i’d definitely really appreciate that. also, longing for the day merit and exa are available in the UK 😫 the exa colour corrector in particular would be perfect for me for the same reasons it is for you

I know the purpose of this is not to spend money and use what you have but I had some money and bought your recommendation for the skin glass and white mixer from haus labs and those 2 products have allowed me to repurpose foundations that I didn't like and now I love doing my makeup so thank you for your in depth reviews they really help.

I don't know if you'd want to but I found popping space cowboy out of its packaging super easy. I bought it on your recommendation and absolutely love it but I struggle to reach for singles. It's had a lot more use since I've incorporated into palettes I've built of singles.

I know you have three mascaras but you need the rose inc one haha. It is a serum formula, doesn't budge while remaining soft, gives long lashes. It is every bit holy grail as the concealer.

Hannah I'd be so curious- when you first think of "bronze" do you think of the colour of polished bronze or of bronze statuary? I always think of the deep, green leaning brown bronze of statues - which i can see would look amazing on olive skin - but I think everyone else thinks of bronze as modern highly polished "bronze medal" bronze, which makes more sense that so frequently they lean copper.

Hannah, you convinced me with your praise for the Ami Colé lip oil in their brown shade and I'm obsssssessed, so thank you! I know it may not be your type of shade, but did you see on Sephora they released a limited edition bright pink shade? I feel like you, debating with myself like do I *really* need another shade that I may not even love as much as my original purchase? 😄

I saw the pink but luckily it's not for me! I feel like nothing could possibly outshine the brown :)

the fact that space cowboy is discontinued makes me so sad. i've been trying to hunt it down for roughly a year to no avail. the fact that I'm in Europe doesn't help either.

I use the milani highly rated gloss as a lip treatment/prep almost daily, more than I wear it as a gloss. If that drugstore gloss is nourishing, why would anyone make one that isnt? 😆
