Жыл бұрынWelcome to the timelapse series for my SECOND EVER full fursuit!! The client wanted a padded body and I'm so happy he was keen on letting me keep the plantigrade raccoon look!
I will be working my butt off to make sure this raccoon suit looks like a raccoon and NOT A DOG. Which seems to be rare....

Woah, I was actually heavily considering saving up my money today to commission a mini partial from you, even adding up costs n stuff and seeing your website... and then you upload today! I think this is a sign! But yeah, your work is amazing and I'm hoping to save up enough money to commission you by 2023! Might even send a quote soon if and when they're open! I hope to get that opportunity to commission you soon, you have amazing talent and maybe one day I can see my own character made in your style! Also, this is before I've watched the video, but I already know this suit is gonna look awesome!

aw thank you!! i appreciate your interest!! I'm currently overhauling my beginner fursuit prices right now, but after they've been updated to match my quality, I'll be doing fursuit quotes again.

I've been binge watching your videos lately as I plan to make my own fursuit sometime in the near future, you're such a talented maker! I do have a couple questions for you :D First, where do you get your fur from? my sona has very specific colors and I probably won't be able to find them at a regular fabric store. Secondly, my sona has glasses and her eyes ARE her glasses, so I was wondering if you might have any ideas of how to make follow me eyes built into glasses? I can't find any other suits online that have eyes like that lol If you read this comment, tysm! Again, you're super talented and watching your content has been super helpful for me :)

aw thank you!! 1. I love checking out Howl Fabric and Big Z fabric for my colors! get swatches before you buy. dont trust online pics. fursuitsupplies and fabricempire are also pretty good. 2. I think it should be as easy as making glasses shapes when you're making the outer eye lash liner, that would take the place of normal eyelashes. for the eye cups shape them like the glasses I guess? it's hard to answer this in a youtube comment.

we really need more makers providing for the uncommon species in the fandom!! I dunno if I'll ever do another dog... we have enough makers for dogs. meanwhile other people are getting turned down for commissions because they have a horse, or a bearcat, etc lol

I seriously love the way you build fursuits!! they always come out so nicely. I have a question which is what do you do with all the leftover foam from carving the headbase? I see that theres almost always a hefty amount of scraps and was just curious if you had any use for it. Excited to see the end result of this crime boy :D

I've got a big Joanns bag full of all my scraps larger than my pinky, the other tiny flakes I throw out! The bigger pieces come in handy when I need to cut a small pattern piece, patch up an area, or I also use them as painting sponges :D I thought of stuffing tails with them, but I'm worried it'll make the tail look and feel lumpy, you know?

This looks AMAZING, it's so recognizable as a raccoon!!! I also really love the way you paint the eyeballs, they always look so real and full of depth. Speaking of, which eye mesh do you use, if you don't mind me asking? :0 I'm having some visibility issues in the fursuit eye department, but I can't tell if it's just because I'm laying the paint on too thickly or if I should get mesh with bigger holes. Anyways, I know I'm pretty late on watching this but I hope you're having a good 2023 so far!!

Thank you so much 😀 It's vinyl cross stitch mesh actually! I love the vision I get. look for the Aida brand, I think it's "14-point" meaning how wide the weave is.

do you wear any mask while cutting the foam? I saw people saying that it should be used just like when shaving the skin but I still wanted different opinions haha

The foam comes off in way bigger chunks when you're cutting it, and it's totally not in danger of being snorted up your nose XD I have never felt the need to myself!

I 3d print the cups with PLA filament on my 3d printer, and the mesh is vinyl cross stitch mesh! you can find blank follow-me dino eyes on etsy :3

Just to save your hands a bit I heavily suggest using an electric knife on bigger cuts, it’s a life saver 😫
