The one thing I like best about this interview is that the interviewer is an actual fan of her. That really makes a difference.

I have been watching Simone long before she spoke English in her videos, I had to translate them from Swedish to English and even then I knew she was on to something and an awesome young lady who deserves all she gets out of life.

Easiest way to recognise a swede is probably to listen for the recurring overuse of the phrases "like" and "I mean".

The funniest thing about this interview was the juxtaposition in the Q & A of a very unserious but highly intelligent Simone who is a bit nerdy but just completely having fun with her life with all these geeky nerds asking serious questions about the future of robotics.

Love her and agree with her on most things, even her feminism, which is rare for me. I also love that she dares to speak her mind. A creative anti-PC feminist who likes "boy-things" ? What's not to like. Great sense of humor as well.

She's not anti-PC, she's just Swedish. People use magical "curse" words all the time on TV in Sweden for example, if that's what you meant. You'll never find her using language that is hurtful to people.

Zicada, Thanks for the tip. I will check it out. (The demographic prognosis for Sweden is ominous, by the way. Later this century, Jante will be displaced by Sharia.) John, The individual makes smarmy, excessive reference to herself. This is the self-indulgent "I, me, my" mode. My criticism is rhetorical, not personal. Here in the USA, we still have the First Amendment freedom to express a critique of this sort.

My comment wasn't motivated by anything other than curiosity. I didn't intend any offence. By the way, I also live in a country where free speech is highly valued and I'm fully aware that you are entitled to your opinion. From my point of view, Simone is quite a likeable individual, hence my curiosity about your comment. Though you could take into consideration that when a person is being interviewed about themselves, that person is going to use the words "I, me, my" quite a bit.
