It works for Sonos because it's a closed system and its customers don't have a choice of subwoofers-yet it was a missing component.

Lower frequencies are omnidirectional, so it doesn't matter where you mount it in the room... At least not usually :)

It is true. I have sol this product. It's the only subwoofer that actually cancels vibrations. Can you get stronger subs, yes. But this is very unique. Go out to a store and listen to it. I'm impressed even after 5 years.

Not logical. The subs face each other and have the same phase, so they push/pull air with double strength.

Yes I am disappointed with this sub to it way to overpriced you can buy a better sound bar and sub for the same price and I am very disappointed with the sonos roam it Is nor very loud and it is almost £200 and I have use jbl and they are way better the jbl flip 4 and 5 is way better than the sonos roam and the sonos sound bars do not sound like they should for the price

It's not worth it to you and that's OK. However, the Sonos reproduce a good amount of bass for the size and the built in wireless and DSP gives you far more placement flexibility than HSU or SVS. Sonos is for folks that want simplicity and not necessarily the complications of an audiophile system.

@@chewsir totally agree with you bro i use to have a klipsh 10 inch subwoofer together with the bose acustimass 6 and this sub really really sounds deep and amazing im not telling that the klipsch sub is bad but it has distorsion on high volume and sound not that deep as the sonos sub the sonos sub will not breaks ur glass😂😂but you can feel it in your chest on high volume it doesnt have any distorsion at all i hope this will last for years happy holidays to all

Not worth it to you. Everyone’s space is configured differently. It works best for the some spaces … it’s not a “rip off”
