i like republic at war but as a CIS main i think the republic is a bit op mostly regarding fighter/bomber support

The Republic is especially overpowered in this mod because of the Venators. My goodness, they're powerful. I've been buffing the CIS relentlessly, and they're still not enough sometimes, haha.

@@SeeRoosterGaming yeah even in the base game without the clone wars addon i need 4 munificent frigates to take on 1 venator 6 of I dont want to lose any sometimes other then buffing confederate units a bit or giving them more fighter support in space im not sure what could be done but what i can tell for certain is that every time i play as CIS I feel as if im fighting with the UNSC againt the Covenant and the fact that the UNSC's strategy of retreating in space if possible and rienforcing the ground and diging ACTUALLY WORK at the start (for a while that is) makes me laugh and slowly give away my sanity

Another amazing video. Now Clone Commandos aren't meant for frontal assaults. They are special operations. Now tie fighters are terrible star fighters and are only really effective against crappy star fighters (which the separatists don't have) or in swarms. Also you should really start supporting your dreadnought as in the lore it was meant to be supported by a fleet. The Malevolence also should be targeted with star fighters as they are small, nimble, and the ion cannon is obselete against them. It's designed for large capital ships. While it could be used against fighters it isn't nearly as effective. Also those flak cannons are really good at shredding heavy armor. However they are seemingly less effective against infantry and are obsolete against LAATs. Also heavy weapons troopers are extremely effective so use those more.

Thank you for the comment. Yes to everything. I'm trying to not overwhelm Dave in an attempt to make things more challenging for myself, haha. The next episode and the last will surely showcase that a little more. All of your tips are really good. I used a few of them recently. You're very right. Thank you.

The fact you are deploying your Mandator I without any escorts is frustrating to me, NGL... Especially considering how close you came to loosing it in that battle.

@@filipgaecki5480 I dont care, I am a navy buff and you should never deploy a capitalship, no matter how big and powerful, without a screening force. It is a terrible investment of resources and poor strategy. I also havent watched the entire series so no, I didnt know he was making bad tactical decisions on purpose. Given he is winning heavily that seems counter intuitive in the extreme.

@@silvercrescent1264 and if you had watched the series you would know he had a screen force for more than half of the series and decided to use it as a single ship fleet becouse: 1. The campaing was becoming too easy 2. Becouse the series is to be realistic in terms of the universe and the clone wars tv show always had special ships without a fleet (like Manevolence) he decided to RP that Just becouse you think you are smarter than everyone else doesn't mean you know everything

@@filipgaecki5480 I never said I was smarter than everyone else. I said that it irritates me he doesn't have any screening ships for his battleship and that I enjoy naval history and tactics. These are not the same thing, stop gaslighting. The campaign becoming to easy was probably because as he admitted his opponent doesn't know the game well. The Malevolence is the only time a dreadnought was ever seen deployed without screening ships iirc. All the dreadnoughts we see in the movies have screening ships. Even in the books most appearances have screening ships, if not an entire fleet around them iirc.
