First off yeah it's gross. I'm sure there are many people who are like it's just a joke. For me it shows me so much how you treat people in the service industry and others who may not be just like you. She trash and he's class.

That's terrible. My mom told me about how my grandfather would be treated badly in public because of how he looked, wearing dirty jeans and shirts and he had hundred dollar rolls in his pockets. He worked hard and had many businesses and left all of my moms six siblings properties, from grocery stores to apartment buildings that he built. You can't judge others like that. She sounds stuck up and righteous, there's nothing wrong with going into a place and asking for a table. Many times I've done that with restaurants that aren't super upscale and they had a wait time of 2+ hours! We would go to the bar, my husband and I, to order drinks and get an appetizer to share. I've had those glances before and it sucks.

I'm gonna have to disagree with a lot of the comments, this behavior is DEFINITELY appalling. Disgusting is probably a better word.
