i do think from her response she sound dumb like really silly make me question what role would have played if he had a better mom. HOWEVER. that such silly thing, u don't understand their dynamic, u don't know if she was scared for her own life even or if she was scared that her refusal might trigger into acting why she doesn't want him to have a gun. specially since she did a lot to get people that know better and the state to intervene, i think most parent barely does a decent job at being a parent never mind being a police/therapist for ur mentally ill kid. she clearly not equipped to deal with him and at least understood that and tried for years to get experts involved and those people failed to do their part.

If so, maybe he should have been sent to see a mental health professional, if the hospital has a team for this. We just don't hear about it because nothing of note occurred. When every single layer of defense fails, this happens. Anyone who allowed this nutjob to get his guns back needs to be fired and or sued into the poor house. How many more warning signs did they need? When the lunatic himself is saying those things and tells them to destroy the guns and he doesn't want them back, at that point the blame has to be spread around. On top of that, the mom clearly tried but she also heavily enabled this, why would you ever let someone who's violent, scary and deranged live in your house? This is so sad.

Everyone blaming the mother but they really shouldn't be. It sounds like she tried extremely hard to get him the help he needed. She continuously brought him to the hospital and multiple psychiatric facilities. She reported her own son when he obtained a firearm. She constantly tried to things the right way, but she, the murderer, and all of the victims were failed by the system. He was constantly released and not taken seriously and was even allowed to obtain more firearms. For those of you saying she drove him to the gun store, yeah she did. I imagine she was trying her best to keep him happy and if she said no she feared that he would get worse. Some of you may say that she told her husband to kill himself but fail to realize that threatening to kill yourself over a relationship ending is extremely abusive. It was not her responsibility to put up with his bullshit. The fact he killed himself was all him not her.

What else is new. It's borderline impossible to talk about male violence on here without incels commenting on some way that it's a woman's fault. "It's always over a B" "oh he grew up with a single mother", the same old crap over and over. Most of these children blaming her for a grown man threatening suicide doesn't surprise me in the least. Wait til they grow up and one of their friends pull this kind of manipulation on them. Happened to me. After a while you really do just have to give up and say "I don't care, do what you want". That isn't killing anyone. You're one of the few sane people on here who seems to understand this is something common from abusers/manipulators.

My mom would threaten suicide on a monthly to weekly basis from the age of 12 to 18. By the time I was 18, I had wrenched pill bottles from her hand, stopped her from grabbing knives. On some occasions, when I was younger and I first grabbed pills from her after threatening suicide, my mom and dad tried to play it off as a joke. I was 15 and from that day forward I never really saw them as parents. My mom was a drunk and a horrible person, so someone saying do it after them threatening suicide is much more plausible than you think when you've been desensitized to the thought of it.

People in the chat freaking out about her saying 2:41 "go ahead", those people don't realize that threatening to "off yourself" if your partner leaves you is basically the biggest sign of a mentally ab*sive relationship. So many people stay in toxic relationship because their other partner guilts them into staying with them or else they'll "off themselves". After a while, those people stop caring and leave. It's better for them to leave than to force themselves to stay in a toxic relationship fueled by your partner threatening to end their own existence if you make them unhappy.

Because I support people to like whatever they like, but its also interesting to me to see if there's links between things like bronies and furries or whatever else and higher rates of deviancy or criminal behavior or mental illness etc etc. People are free to do as they like but links between things like that are fascinating to me to see if there is a connection there or not. Also this woman failed as a parent and should be locked up because that's an insane level of neglect of parental duties to let this happen to someone that you're responsible for. Also a failure from the police and medical services as we've seen so many times before.

I know because I've been around people with mental illnesses all my life. None of them have even come close to doing what this kid had done. That's all I meant. I appreciate XQC's somewhat modest take on the niche communities that form over certain things, certain communities take a large focus on acceptance and not assuming bad things of others, but that unfortunately means that a lot of real psycho's like this guy come through and find attachment through that acceptance, but use it for their own twisted goals to make themselves feel better. As someone who got through a heavy period of depression myself through the acceptance and community that MLP brought about 11-12 years ago at this point, I just hope others can realize that generalizations are unhealthy and dont help anyone, its just a lazy way of thinking.

He didn't shoot up a school, and he mostly killed adults. There are a ton of differences in these cases other than the fact one happened 20+ years ago. There were 2 columbine shooters, they had a manifesto, there was video of the actual shooting, it happened to children, they killers were both children unlike this dude who was a grown man etc. The list goes on. Correlation is not causation. There is also the fact that people like to blame violent games or music, that couldn't be done here because it was MLP. Whereas Christians used the Columbine incident to attempt to try to cancel Sabbath and Manson, again, drawing more attention to it. And not sure how you haven't heard of this dude.. but you not hearing about something doesn't change anything. Personally I heard about this awhile ago and I don't even live in the US, so not sure where you've been.

@@FoxExcess I've been too busy hearing about all the other mass shootings. I don't know about him because I've literally lost track of them.

@WhatEver-tx7px in Quran, Allah said we can kill animal for survival(hunger or dangerous) but in non cruel way of slaughter. Our prophet muhammad said treat animal like u treat a human being, so if u kill animal for fun its the same as u kill a human being

It’s not call of duty.. a skilled officer with a Glock that’s semi automatic and has a 17 round clip can be just as useful if not more in some cases against a kid with a large heavy assault rifle.

most of the time yes , but those officers pretty much just arrived and took their pistol and rushed there. Can't really waste time when there is a crazy moron shooting ar15 at anyone he sees. They responded fast and rushed in quickly to save more people and secure the area. They did good.@@WhatEver-tx7px
