I've noticed that three different KZfaq channels have showcased the same Larry Williams strategy.

So, in this video, I'm not just going to explain who Larry Williams is and delve into how this strategy operates, but I'm also going to provide you with backtest results of this strategy.

Thanks for doing this backrest , maybe I'm wrong but i do believe that the more rr the more stable the trading system u have , and 2 rr isn't enough to achieve consistency.

I don't think this is correct. RR doesn't tell anything about the stability of a trading system. Why would a 1 to 50 RR strategy would be more stable than a 1 to 1 if the 1 to 50 RR strategy will almost never have a winning trade? You wont get a strategy that wins 70% of the trades with a 1 to 50 RR ratio because the take profit is just too far. On the other hand a 1 to 2 RR strategy with a 70% winrate is doable and profitable. In my opinion and experience you can create profitable systems with a 0.5-6 RR ratio with the best RR being(in my opinion) is around 2.5. Profit factor in combination with sharpe ratio will gove you how consistent and good the strategy is.

I wonder if it would be possible to code _Traders Reality's_ strategy as a strategy. I don't think it's possible. But it would be a great challenge to try.

As algo traders we have around 40 strategy optimizations currently (this number grows each month) that we track each month. From that 40 we decide which are the most likely to continue generating profit in the future. These strategies are complex would be hard to explain how to trade them manually (however I attempt it on youtube from time to time) that's why we use scripts. (and also because of automation)

why you're doing it on a 5 min time frame? increase the time frame and the results will improve a lot !

Cause there are a lot of people who prefer low timeframe trading

@@TradeSmart22as far as I'm concerned his strategies were not used by him on intraday charts, if the strategy is to be used on higher time frames you're basically missleading people by showing the results of a test made on a 5M time frame. At least make it clear on your videos that the strategy was not originally made to be used on lower time frames and that using it on lower time frames will have a negative impact on the results.

But he says in a few videos, where he is a guest on some podcast or whatever, that he does use indicators, just that he doesn't use alot as it gets confusing. He combines technical analysis and fundamental analysis for the best reads
