Man, am I the only one that felt that Luke’s demeanor was spot on? He’s Jedi Master Luke in his prime, he’s calm and confident. It was great. The CGI was weird, but whatever, I’m glad they didn’t recast.

My headline review of this season: Less frustrating than the first season. Thank the Maker that Bo-Katan explained how Din Djarin was raised by a cult, and that's why he doesn't act like a normal Mandalorian or know the correct history of Mandalore. Thank goodness Din removed his helmet twice, and he may keep it off in the third season so we can see Pedro Pascal act - assuming there will be a third season. This season finally turned Boba Fett into an interesting character instead of a walking costume or an annoying kid. This season also gave Grogu a name and backstory, so he's more of a character and less of a Macguffin. But who was that deus ex machina in a black cloak with a green lightsaber at the end? That guy just showed up, claimed to be a Jedi, and whisked away Grogu. He didn't even introduce himself.

I really hope they cast Sebastian Stan as Luke so they can use him in the future, I think that would work so well.

I'm fine with every existing Star Wars character who showed up in season 2 of The Mandalorian however I would like to see more original characters or characters moving forward. I am also okay with seeing more characters within the Star Wars cannon who have yet to show up in a movie or TV show like Cobb Vanth.

Jon Favreau has said Mark Hamill came on set to do the face scan and do the dialogue. But I agree, this is probably it for Luke on this show unless he brings Grogu back.

I could be wrong, but maybe the reason Ahsoka didn't just force push that lady to the moon was because she needed to interrogate her about "Where is your Master, Thrawn?" If she just hopped the fence, ran in and decapitated her, then she'd get no answers. She had to defeat her, convincingly enough that the woman would spill the beans, but without shattering every bone in her body.

The tradegy episode with the climbing the mountain was one of the only episodes shot on location. I had a hard time knowing what was volume or not in episode one (chapter9). But I had no idea before watching the behind the scenes that they did this at all, amazing piece of kit!

1:01:08 that kind of audience is a very sizable majority here in Turkey. I have more friends in that category than outside of it. I'm guessing that's because for many of us our introduction to Star Wars came in the form of Clone Wars and many of my friends just stopped there (until this show).

So I just realized something, and I want to know if this has been addressed elsewhere. In the prequel trilogy, Boba Fett is like 10. Fast forward approximately 20 years to the original trilogy, and he's in his thirties. This all makes sense so far. But in The Madnalorian, which takes place maybe 5 years after RotJ, Boba Fett is suddenly 60. He should be maybe 40 at this point. The only in-world explanation I've been able to come up with is that he got really chewed up in the Sarlacc pit. I know that the real explanation is that Temuera Morrison is a legend and they wanted him to come back, but I'm just wondering if there's something I'm missing or if anyone else has already covered this and I'm just really late to the party.

For the Tom Cruise controversy, I fully defend him. A couple of reasons 1) if someone of respectable stature and power has a true reason to yell, I've always listened. 2) One worry was what happens next if they still don't follow. What happens is the worker will get fired. Simple. 3) Tom Cruise has usually shown he's a leader. We can most likely assume that this was a build up. 4) The consequences are too much. The movie can get delayed, investors can pull out, etc. He said it himself, he's working even at nights to ensure it's as smooth as possible. 5) I personally feel people need to toughen up. The fragile ego of the younger generations are frowned down upon by those older. There are pros and cons to all generations, but again, younger generations are too sensitive.

Speaking of your idea of Luke threatening the stormtroopers, that totally reminds me of the Family Guy spoof of Return of the Jedi where Han tells the wide helmet guys in the bunker on Endor to dig their own graves with those helmets and threatening to wear their faces to their families just because the movie is getting all a bit too cute with the Ewoks...

About how the X-wing lazily flew in not in any rush to come to the rescue... I figured its got something to do with the mystical nature of a Jedi Master's connection to the force. As for the Terminal just scanning any face, when I had that question, the best answer I could come up with for myself was, keeping in mind that the Imperials are basically an Overpowered Racist Hate group, The scan is basically to make sure its not one of the alien non-human species that is using the terminal. Also based on the conversation Mayfield has with the others it also is to make sure the person using the terminal is not someone that is a registered member of the New Republic/Rebels or someone wanted by the ISB/Empire. Also to access the terminal The Mandalorian needed one of those Code Cylinders from the trooper originally driving the cargo transport thing. I guess that is the first line of defense, along with the fact that the terminal is not just anywhere but Inside the Officers Mess Hall, which I assume is one of the more well guarded areas of the secret mining base. The scan is more of an additional precaution ? Besides the Imperials do seem like the stupid incompetent paranoid idiots who would rather scan to check you are not someone they hate, instead of going through the trouble of scanning and keeping records of the face of every single trooper in their army whom they don't really seem to care for much. I mean Valin Hes or whatever his name was seemed to not be too worried about killing thousands of his own troopers in operation cinder. his whole "i had to make some tough calls" routine seemed more like practiced lines rather than sincere guilt as compared to the rest of the horrible glory to the empire things he said. And regarding Bobo Feet The super Incompetent Bounty hunter that suddenly became one of the most badass people in the show. As everyone probably already knows, they fixed him from being a dumbass to a badass for the upcoming show but in my head canon, he probably went through a complete life changing experience when he dragged himself out of that sarlak pit... it broke him down mentally and physically (as the pit tried digesting him ?) I suspect they will add that to the book of Boba Fett with maybe Jango taunting him for having lost his way and getting lazy and weak to the point where he gets bonked into the pit by a blind Han ? I figure in his head the ghost of his Father/Donor just kicks his ass in the pit forcing him to become a badass in order to survive and climb out. I also Picture Jango chanting Deshi deshi Basara Basara as Bobba climbs out just cause it's a funny image to me.

The character who showed up at the end felt extremely wooden. Not even how he said lines but the lines he said. He needed to say something that isn’t exposition. Not that it needs like a joke but if he seemed a bit more human? Like if he was a bit tired from the big action scene or did an introduction that felt more like he was introducing himself to everyone. But I get why they used that actor. If he’s only gonna be there for 2 minutes you do need it to be a bit recognizable.

For some reason the Tom Cruise rant only made me more excited for Mission Impossible 7. His intensity is what makes him so watchable and the fact we are all waiting for him to get hurt on some crazy stunt.

Pretty sure Ahsoka didn't just outclass that evil ruler was due to the fact that she needed her alive and to tell her where Thrawn is. And could be possible she didn't want to use the force seeing how she was battling someone who isn't force sensitive. She could simply find it boring to just use the force to end it in a second. As I would imagine she doesn't face many people at all that are competent enough to do anything to her. So might have just been enjoying fighting someone who had some level of skill and had a weapon that could counter a light saber.

Imagine if all of these Spider-Man cameos were kept secret till the actual movie was released :/

Darth maul fell to obi-wan, Obi-Wan fell to anakin, Anakin sacrificed himself for his son. The dark saber belongs to Luke by proxy... Sabine stole it without contest, they are all faux heirs to the saber
