With great dictatorial powers, comes a great risk of ceasing to continue to breathe long before your elderly years, with the odds increasing markedly if you also just so happen to make enemies out of not just countless nations of the world, but within a relatively large percentage of your own population through brutality and oppression. Something the Führer of the III Reich was acutely aware of.As the Austrian champion for World’s Silliest Moustache once said: ‘There will never be anyone in the future with as much authority as I have … I can, however, be removed at any time by some criminal or idiot … No one is safe against some idealist or an assassin who ruthlessly stakes his life for his purpose.’Everybody with a passing knowledge of WWII history and/or Tom Cruise’s cinematography has heard about the Stauffenberg Plot, the failed assassination attempt against Adolf Hitler conducted on July 20, 1944. But this was just one in a long series of attempted or planned shootings, bombings and poisonings conducted against the dictator. And while efforts began rather quaint starting long before WWII, as you’ll soon see, as the years passed things got spicier and spicier for the so-called German Messiah. So let’s dive into it, shall we?

Not gonna lie, every time I come across a new video or media piece about Hitler's assassination attempts, there seems to be *more* to be reported, never less, never *different.* I'm starting to believe time travel *is* a thing in the future, and some poor souls keep coming back specifically to try and take him out, always failing and adding to the ever increasing list, retconning it eternally. They fail either because his stupidly high luck, or by *other* time travelers looking to avoid a huge change in the timeline...

Well, without WW2 most of us wouldn't be here. Our existence literally relies on history going exactly as it went, or billions of people wouldn't have existed and billions of different people would have. So of time travel is possible, it would be of the utmost importance to make sure no one kills Hitler before the proper time, or make any other change to history.

It helps when your assassins are either incompetent, careless, or try to get too fancy. Very few of the assorted plotters seem to have realized that the likelihood of a secret becoming known is equal to the *square* of the number of people who are in on it. Most of the practises that would have ensured at least a decent chance of success would later be codified, in a completely different context, as the "Moscow Rules".

@@gonefishing167 Oh no Hitler was absolutely largely sane in the beginning. Insane in his ambition but sane in his logic and reasoning. He even deduced where the Allies would land when he was invaded, but his Generals convinced him he was mistaken. However I absolutely do think that as the years wore on his sanity definitely did dwindle. By the time he put a luger to his temple, it wouldn't surprise me if he suspected his entire inner circle of wanting to kill him.

6:15 Mutafluor is actually a legitimate probiotic and is still available today. It contains E. coli Nissle, which, yes, was originally isolated from human feces; however, it's produced using normal bacterial growth media. We now know that diversity of gut bacteria is more important than any particular strain, but Mutafluor is still helpful. In a lab I used to work in, we used Nissle as a model for a more natural strain of E. coli as opposed to the highly engineered strains we normally use. We literally just bought some Mutafluor, broke open the capsule, and streaked it out on a plate.

Can you do a video on extra limbs? Why they develop, why they are often not functional, how they work if they can feel/move, what side effects they have, and how they are functional as in how they connect to the nervous system and skeletal/muscles systems, why they are often removed. @arnaldoteodorani277
@arnaldoteodorani277 14 күн бұрын
It was The Boys from Brazil with Gregory Peck (if I remember correctly) starring in the role of real life Dr Josef Mengele, the ‘Angel of Death’ of Auschwitz. Mengele escaped to South America after WWII and died of natural causes in Brazil. The film is based on a novel by Ira Levin, written at the time when Mengele’s whereabouts were still unknown. The story of Mengele also inspired Slayer’s classic song ‘Angel of Death’ from the album ‘Reign in Blood’.

WAY more accurate, and if you already have a script they only have to format with time marks, the cost is a pretty minimal addition compared to the video and audio editors already being used. I used to be one, I literally got flooded out of work during COVID, there are no shortages and they're often disabled people and single parent/caretakers who need an option they can work from home intermittently. Napoleon was born in Corsica which was part k France at the time Alexander the Great was Macedonean. Macedonia was as Greek as Athens, Ionia, Thebes, or Sparta, they were all city states independent but all Greek and when all of Greece was united under Macedonia under Alexander the Great the resulting Macedonian Empire was the start of the Hellenistic period (Hella meaning Greek) Stalin was born in Georgia which was part if the Russian Empire at the time….

Tf would you buy raycon when you can get the same product for half the price from brands like tranya with better battery and imo better sound proofing. I work in a sawmill and my raycons had to get cranked to max for me to be able to unhear the shit storm I work in. Tried other brands at the risk of being cheaper and arguably found far better ones.

Please it is Progromnacht, not Kristallnacht Please cease using the Nazi’s terminology for such a grave event. Kristallnacht - broken glass, is used to make little of what befell the Jews of Germany and Austria on these days. We must recognize that there were a lot more broken than glass......

Everyone knows Crystal Night was a Pogrom. There have been many pogroms. Also many victims of the Holocaust weren't Jewish. Homosexuals, Slavs, mentally ill people, physically disabled and Catholics who didn't listen to the priests in the pulpit. Nearly 13million died in the camps and death marches

What's more important than learning about WW2 is learning what led up to it and everything it includes. Learning to recognize the first few signs before it's too late. If more people did that they will see that it is already starting to happen again.
