Green herbs are 80% water and 20% herb and dried plants are 80% herb and 20% water so its better to have them dried. Another principle preparing herb is that leaves and flowers or stems are boiled for 5 mins and steeped for another 40 mins to 4 hours for maximum benefit. For roots and barks, they are boiled for 15mins and steeped for 40 mins to 4 hrs for maximum benefit. Blessings

Hi Faye, I am watching this programme and my eyes caught some plants in the garden. I am looking to grow Dahlias and saw a few blooms that look like dahlias. Can you confirm this please and if so do you know where I can buy dahlias and David Autin Roses in Jamaica.

Hi Angella, I didn't remember seeing any Dahlias, so I rewatched the video . I have not seen a lot of Dahlias in Jamaica since I was a child. I think the garden stores occasionally carry them. May I suggest that you try to bring the bulbs in. I'm also not familiar with that particular rose. I'm so sorry that I couldn't help. Best wishes
