Actually the bird is trying hard, but only gets the woman to say "Good job" and "Thank you!". The woman is rather nervingly slow-witted.

They talk what you teach them. You may have taught them 'shut up'. Now they are using that to you.

I've been researching for a year about getting a parrot. I have a spare bedroom to turn into the aviary, I have the time and I love them. I'm just so scared about the commitment. I don't want to make the wrong choice.

Marinas Feathered Kids Yes I'm aware of their lifespan and commitment, I would like a cockatoo or a bird like yours in the video but can't find cockatoos in Quebec close to where I live. Double yellow headed amazon aren't that bad haha.

You can't tell with many species of parrot. There are very accurate blood tests, or a vet can make a tiny incision and look inside to see. Cockatoo females have reddish eyes. Eclectus parrot males and females are very very different in color. But you can't be certain with Amazon parrots without a vet test, or if it lays an egg!

Why dont you reward her with a treat instead of saying good job, you dont know if she understands what good job means.

Virginia Kennedy her reward is my attention which is what she wants and y she repeats what i say and sings for hours to me because she gets my attention doing it. notice how she learned all of it without getting food rewards. a reward doesnt need to be food. its wtv motivates them. attention motivates her to repeat
