Yeah, like having a leather belt on your forehead,I guess. Except some people perspire a lot and that will create a much thicker barrier against staining. It will provide better protection, and also you’ll have the option of wiping it dry when you cool off in a restaurant or something. There are two camps, some folks prefer it and some don’t..most brands don’t use leather, it’s heavier and costs a lot more. But companies like Signes use really thin,soft, buttery,Italian leather, like you’d see on a pair of thin,driving gloves.. I like my hats as light as possible, but I think leather does have its advantages too
