Rev. Prim's nephew, (elder's sister's son) is probably the first person to die in the conflict. He wasn't directly killed by the Meiteis but he died due to stroke/heart attack out of fear while the entire village was running away on 3rd night of May. His village, "salam Patong" which is perhaps the oldest kuki village in Manipur was burnt down on 4th May. Also on 4th May, his daughter's house was burnt down in Imphal. The father of the girl who's paraded naked is closely known to him - the one who was killed. Rev. Prim couldn't sleep when that video came out as he knows the family well. Don't assume he's living comfortably in Imphal. Let's refrain from passing quick judgments. He and his family have endured the same hardships. Despite the challenging circumstances, he's still raising his voice from that place, as a Man of God 🥺💔.

Our beloved Rev S Prem Vaiphei is oldies and believe in old stories and affectionate old times. There was much love and care in those days. Not to talk of his generation, even in my childhood times during the 80s there was so much love and understanding among communities. Things drastically changed in the 90s when youth were radical among the Meiteis. Our beloved Rev S Prem Vaiphei still live in 70s and 80s mindset. However, Manipur has changed considerably and Manipur has become totally radicalised. This has proved that Meitei and Kukis could not live together, the last few Kukis could not be given protection even by the great nation India. Total Separation is the only solution.

Yes, there will always be bad and good eggs among any community, but the fact is majority of Meiteis(not all, but too many) want Kukis dead.
