Thanks, it was the first thing that came to mind so I had to do the tag 😂

Well, you know we’re all crossing our fingers for that robot body 🎉. Stiff sounds really interesting. I had it on my list already so I’m not sure if it was you or someone else that already talked about it. The thumbnail 😂

I know I've recommended it in comments before but maybe I've mentioned it. It's quite light hearted considering the subject matter ☺️

Hi Aaron, thanks a lot for doing my little tag. Nice to see that you also consider 'Mort' as one if the wittiest books on this topic. 'Stiff' sounds very interesting, I'll look out for it. Best regards from Germany, David 😊

I'm jealous of your edition of Mort, and glad to hear he is appreciated in Germany! I've enjoyed seeing all the various ways people have tackled this one, so thanks.

She seems to have an interesting mix of human body books

I like the humorous quotes. We have to get by with dark humour in my job! One of my faves is "I told you I was ill" on Spike Milligan's grave stone. I hope I've still got the chance to read 4-5k more books! 😊🤞🏻

Yeah that Spike Milligan one is a classic, I also like the one in The Royal Tenenbaums.

@@YourTrueShelf You should watch the film if you haven't, it's brilliant. "Died tragically rescuing his family from a sinking battleship"

@@AaronReadABook thanks 😊 I watched it when I was about 20, my brother recommended it, but that was a long time ago!!

I loved the hog father lol, it made me want to pick up mort because death was my favorite character. I'm a weenie and get scared of the idea of death but books that have a system and story after death make me feel better. reincarnation blues is my favorite for that, but its a tricky subject because the wrong book will make me spiral lol
@AaronReadABook5 ай бұрын
Death pops up in a lot of the Discworld books as a cameo too, he is always great. I've not heard of Reincarnation Blues before, I love books where the character gets reincarnated lots of times so I need to get that!

@@AaronReadABook I've literally bought that book 3 times because I lend it out and it becomes a favorite book and I don't get it back 🤣

@@grace_silva Have you read The First 15 Lives of Harry August? That's a similar concept which I loved.

Reading what you like is a good rule of thumb. I actually like classics but... Who cares😂? There was a time I was somewhat snobby and I cringe about that folly now. I grew up, thank God!
