Hello Snoopy! 😍 I also found the change of narrator for the Thursday Murder Club books a bit jarring but good to hear they go back to Lesley Manville. I’m looking forward to the film adaptation too.

I've just double checked and the 4th one is Fiona Shaw too, it's weird because Manville is the interview after book 2 and she said she loves doing them. The film cast looks really promising!

I found a lovely illustrated book of Jane Austen’s letters in a thrift shop that I have just started reading. Also just enjoyed a reread of P & P. Nice hardback you found of Pilchur’s. I like to read that one in December. It’s the only one I have read so far, I need to go further with this author. Shell Seekers waits in the wings!

I’m excited to read IWHNKM, and I almost read it a month or two ago as MJ’s Patreon was doing it as a buddy read and they all loved it, but I ran out of time. Thank you for saving me from reading Carrie Soto. 😂 I have Evelyn Hugo on my shelf still to get to; it’s been so hyped up I hope I still enjoy it. I loved Daisy Jones, but Malibu Rising was just ok. Did you do audio for Murder Club? I’ve heard they get even better as the series goes on. It’s on my list 😄 I need to check out Rosamunde Pilcher too. The Shell Seeker, September and Winter Solstice all sound great. Honestly, all of her books sound right up my alley. I enjoyed the tag!

I have been listening to Thursday Murder Club on audio and they are fantastically done, unfortunately the third one has a different narrator though. Evelyn Hugo is much better than Carrie Soto, it has some terrible issues but it's not boring like Soto. I think you would like Pilcher, very scenic writing.

Seemed to me that Trollope had a lot of fun writing his character.

This has nothing to do with the tag, but I just wanted to mention that I read about the new series about the Mitford girls ("Outrageous") that is going into production and will be shown sometime in 2025. It's just very odd that they never did one before, it's such a natural subject. I was checking out the pictures of the actresses playing the Mitfords and they seem to be good matches, except I think the one for Jessica is a little "off." I think the actor for Oswald Mosley is a good pick but I don't remember what the other men in the Mitford circle looked like. Did you read about this?
