Heard the CCS $10k was won by a 15-yr old. Amazing!

Yeah, I was able to catch some of the 20 Lore stream. He played extremely well against some veteran players. The mirror matches were fantastic to watch. He also got very lucky and dodged his worst matchup (Bucky). The 4 one drop choice really paid off for him.

I'm sad you skipped over the CCS 2k. There was a SUPER SPICY Amber Ruby locations list

The stats might not be there yet but I think Ruby Amethyst somehow got better

I just got to top 8, not 4 sadly, with amber/ruby Mufasa. But pretty pleased as it was out of 30 people and first time I've managed it!

@@charliefen congrats, man! Keep at it and you’ll just keep improving.

@@QuantumMercury thank you so much! I have no idea how that happened, felt really intense, particularly with so many people around. Got a few more to go to, I know my deck isn't in the top, so wasn't that confident, but liked how it played. Most I've played is 17 before and didn't get to top 8 then. Feeling it now though 😂 have to say I appreciate your videos!

@@QuantumMercury oh and my worst thing was as I got better, I felt my opponents were obviously getting better. The last three matches (including one in top 8) were all different emerald/steel. Ouch! Others were a good mix of ruby/amethyst, sapphire/steel, and amber/steel. Just in case you were interested!

As a ruby amethyst player I hope and pray almost no one plays GS discard at set champs lol luckily the deck is stupid expensive and I only expect 1-2 people to actually have the deck in person.

Honestly I might thinking playing full aggro for ursula championship. I found last time i was playing ruby saphire. All my games was almost the full time and I remember after 4/5 set of Bo3 i was exhausted because i had less break between games. Playing 10 - 12 games in paper format vs PB not the fk same thing

Lol. 😂 I MUCH prefer paper to digital for card games and miniatures games. Opponents stalling or just taking too long can be called out. I hated Pixelborn more often than not because of the roping, intentional or otherwise. As for your choice to play aggro, I can second that. I'd personally go Amb/Ame and run hyper aggro. The only point is to put bodies on board and score. Aggro leave a bit of room for other strategies, but it dilutes your scoring potential. Standard aggro can be beaten with a bad draw and a deck like E/St running through the meta. Hyper aggro can be ready to win by turn 4 or 5, before the Steel removal can even be an issue.

@@Xoulrath_im so tempted to run hyper aggro

You’re in luck. My testing partner cooked up a very good Amber Amethyst list that I’ll be showing some matches against next.
