The MG Gt Sport is the largest subcompact sedan available in the Philippines today, and this top-spec MG GT Sport is also the most powerful subcompact sedan in the Philippines today. In this Filipino car review, we take a deep dive into the MG GT Sport and see why this is the best performance bargain since the Geely Coolray. The MG GT Sport may be at the higher end of the price spectrum, but it delivers a lot more power and performance than the Honda City RS or the Toyota Vios GR Sport. Kudos to MG for keeping the price down on this beautiful vehicle. I dont normally like MG's but this is a great car. You can see where they chopped to meet the price point and they took care for it not to be too painful(finishers at the rear, no rear centre armrest, no reach in the steering).

My only gripe on this is the rear windshield. 80% of it blocks the view due to large head rest.

In Indonesia they sold as MG 5 GT, without the turbo though, with body dimension in the same class as Civic and Corolla, this cause penalties the car acceleration, even an LMPV class accelerates faster, and it’s fuel economy.

8.5 sec is good but the coolray is still faster despite being a crossover..I bet another chinese brand will outperform this car soon.. I hope MG will bring the 7 here..

ayaw ng yellow color dahil mukhang taxi e d yong kulay white na mga cars , cross over, ng nissan, suzuki, mitsubishi kulay taxi din. mas marami pa nga ang white color na taxi kisa yellow. yong lamborgini at ferrari mukhang taxy din ngayon. pilipino talaga

Dapat ibang kulay naman reviewhin mo sana. Bat puro yellow kasi rinereview nyo. May red at white naman para di pang taxi na sabi mo.🤦🤣 Very soon i'll be owning a red one naming it Vlad (from Hellsing anime).🙏🙏😎🔥
