@@AlexA-lz4iw close but incorrect. WRITTEN BY Bruce Springsteen. The lyrics were written by Patti Smith after Bruce gave up on it after a few months. Bruce's studio engineer at the time was Jimmy Iovine who got Patti involved.

Totally agree! The Midnight and Nikki Flores together is nothing less than amazing, they do so well together. This is the first live video of them I've ever watched, I normally just listen on Tidal...I love their whole image on stage, I'd love to see them live some time for sure!

Two things: 1) y'all are some talented musicians to sound *this* good live. It sounds like studio quality with how tight and controlled it is. 2) please make Nikki a permanent member of the band, because she complements y'all's style/voice so damn well. Great to see younger bands revisiting the classics - I still prefer the power of the E Street Band and Bruce's vocals on his live album way back when, but the surviving members are all in their 70s now and Bruce can definitely get by without slogging it out on the road. Full marks to The Midnight for being able to bring it live.

This was so amazing when I heard it live last year. I had this playing while I played DnD with friends online, we played in person until some months before. But this concert ran in the background for that one day. It was a new world, a different world. We adapted, we grew, we kept our ties. This music helped fuel this. The passion you poured into this performance is such a memorable time when we were so full of vacancy. It will live forever. So beautiful. so memorable. So good.
