No it's not. Jankus was talking about things that never happened. Girlfriend mods still exist, you can still play them. You can still get free skins and worlds and texture packs. Java gets updated at the same pace as Bedrock; you could make the argument that Java gets updated faster because it gets more and more frequent snapshots. So all of that about Microsoft ruining Java is bullshit

No.............the horrific flashbacks........ droping into some dark cave.......... surrounded by mobs........worst part is you can only hear them but not see them because my stupid ass forgot some torch........ no blocks to build back up...........inventorys loaded...............no sword in hand only a pickaxe with no durability ............... started running...... arrows flying by......... a single ray of light and hope shining at the end of the tunnel.......... lost in some forest and dont know which direction house is........... starving........ finaly some bacon on legs...............................................................................................................decide to rebuild in this area and try to make another house...................some horse near a village................. struck diamond................... followed the ender eye.............................................................................................................sees old house........... manly feelin g s welling up inside......... checks chest........ all the item is still there.......... checks overgrown crops.................checks animal pens............ good times .......btw I was writing this at 1 am and thank you for reading this much

Man, I wish I discovered this vid a while ago. Minecraft means a lot to me, I met some of my best friends who are still my best friends to this day, by playing Minecraft on the Xbox 360, the amount of times I lured creepers into my mates houses, Then came the magical day, when I got my own computer that I didn't have to share with my family, and the first game I got, was Minecraft Java Edition, at first, I played public Survival servers, then I did modded singleplayer survival and now, I host modded Survival servers with my friends, and It's the most fun I've had in a while, and all of it helped get me through 2020, so I'm doing it again for 2021
