I think this guy proved that if Foreman was ever happy about something, it would kill him.

Kutner was such a badass in this episode. Told them to “dry faster” and then just said “dry enough, he’ll have brain damage if we wait, I’m going for it now” and everyone was blown away metaphorically, and kutner was blown away literally. But it worked

Foreman: you're happy? Patient: Ofcourse why wouldn't I be?🙂 *Instantly collapses* mood.

One of the funniest and interesting Diseases their team have encountered although heavily fictionalized, the scene with Thirteen was hilarious haha

doctor: "your happy." patient: "why wouldn't i be" also patient: *dies* this is so funny to me BWAHAHAHA

Patient: What do you do? House: Stuff Patient: (clearly happy to have a connection) Me too!! 🤣🤣🤣

This guy's amazing, he can take a look at you for 20 seconds and determine your whole personality.

I'm sad it left out the part at the end where House and Cuddy go into the room to see who he mimics

This episode is one of my favorites as it gives insight into each character and that Wilson is the real boss haha

I have to give this guy props for his versatile acting. He is quite good, indeed. Only thing is they, at this point in the series, just said "Screw it." when it comes to even the slightest bit of realism, regarding... well, pretty much every single medical procedure/protocol. I *wish* they had a few advisory physicians that had some pull, but that's just me.

For anyone who's wondering, the patient was diagnosed by Dr. House with an eperythrozoon infection, leading to the disease known as eperythrozoonosis. Zoonotic diseases are those transmitted from animals and insects to humans.

I love this episode's conceit, that (as House puts it at the end) every one of them gets some insight about themselves from the mirror man. And Frank Whaley is SOOO good.

Frank Waley is a very versatile and underutilized actor.

I find houses logic about the hot tub odd. Kutner looks like a happy kinda goofy guy it's not that hard to imagine he does love hot tubs. The guy mirrors his own perceptions of people he's not fucking psychic all of a sudden.

When House walked in with the shoe box in the red jacket, House was doing his best to not limp.

Wow this mirror man episode really set up all the story lines of character development and weaknesses. Didn't realize it till rewatching

This was such a great organic way for the show to help us get to know characters we didn't know that much about yet. Great writing tool, 10/10.

Kutner reminds me so much of House in many episodes. It's a shame the actor had to leave the show because it would've been great to see where his actor would have gone.

I know it's a series, but it still bothered me that he wasn't wearing a mask in an active operating theater and opened a wound on another person.

This guy must be a great friend. He should be some type of therapist also, revealing what people truly want.

to be honest I saw kutners suicidal tendencies before , his want to use defibrillator paddles even though the patient was all wet knowing the major risks , and his response to everything dealing with death and superstition

Watching this after knowing what happens to Kutner makes it hit different for me “If I’m not doing something interesting than who the hell am I” shows that Kutner really struggled to find who he was and lacked so much confidence in himself despite his outward demeanor.

Hugh Laurie often forgets that House is single. At the beginning of some scenes, an engagement ring can be seen on his left hand, but usually towards the end of the scene... it returns back to his right hand.👍

So, Wilson has a need to point out other people's flaws. Taub wants to bonk everyone and has no standards. Kutner is excited about everything and wants to stand out. Foreman has absolutely no regrets for where he ended up. And Thirteen is deeply terrified.

Favorite House patient dynamic was the guy who had Frontal Lobe disinhibition syndrome (Season 5, Episode 17) and said whatever came to his mind. House paged Cuddy (for no reason except) to get her and 13 in the same room, for this: [Cut to Foreman and Thirteen with Nick in Radiology] Thirteen: Are you sure you understand? Nick: No, I'm lying. Except I can’t. (Nick gets out of the wheelchair and hops up onto the MRI table) You ask questions. While I talk, you look at my brain activity to see where it's screwed up. Then you're gonna cut the screwed up part out to test it. It's depressing, but it's not rocket science. Foreman: I think he understands. Nick: (to Thirteen) I don't mean to be abrasive. Especially since you're such a pleasure to image naked. Again, sorry. Thirteen: It's okay. Nick: Thank you for understanding. I do, you know. Really, my apologies. This stuff just comes out. Thirteen: It's okay. [Cuddy walks in] Cuddy: House paged. Nick: Whoa, I would do her in a minute with fudge and a cherry on top. Would someone please explain to this woman? @0:50 in House says "Do you know another mirror syndrome?" To Foreman.. Which is odd because there is actually another one which is completely different to Giovannini's Mirror syndrome as it affects pregnant women's fetus' only and is just "Mirror Syndrome" or sometimes known as "Ballantyne Syndrome".

This guy (the patient) also did an amazing job in NCIS also.
