Fantastic. We’re a young species and we’ve had to learn by making mistakes. Stuff like this tells me we’re going to be just fine. We just need to put our big boy pants on and get on with fixing it.

I find the word swamp somewhat derogatory personally I much prefer wetlands being more friendly and descriptive

Ban plastic, fuel emissions and smoking. Only then the ecosystem will recover. Just restoring a wetland won't make much sense.
