Come on! Is it really obsession? He was never boundary clear. He ate with her, did most things with her. He was even going to wear her tie that day. She was so close and maybe he never saw it as love but to her "delusional" unrequited love it felt like real love. He just hasnt got round to reciprocate it. I also dont like partners who not matter whether conscious or not, have a person on their side who does all the functions of a "wife" or "husband" other than romantic love and the person receiving turns around and says "oh I thought we were just friends"😱

@@tarrysmile I have to agree. Except for sex and intimacy they absolutely used those people and leaned on them for emotional support. He could eat with anyone and he can't say he had no thought that she liked him as more than a friend or brother since his parents made it quite clear they expected him to marry that girl and that girl was always at his home and making herself available to him. He never saw her with a boyfriend and she never discussed wanting to be with anyone else. He knew but it seems like he was just leading her along to fill in lonely times until he saw someone else that he liked. He liked this schemer enough to go abroad with her and spend times with her but I think she waited too long to express her feelings and intentions. She should not have tried to force it and if he did nit even kiss you in the 10 or 15 years you two went to school and spent all that time with, then she should have confessed in her early 20s and started dating others or even when he would rather move out the house and told her he didn't want to spend time with her outside of work, she should've moved on instead of those plotting, scheming moves. It was embarrassing for a doctor to do that.

@@tarrysmile it's just that she used trickery to get him into her hotel room and thought she had him all to herself. I get that they were friends and he wasn't quite sure what was happening at first with the balloons and all but when she opened her mouth and started spewing out all that foolishness he should've just stopped her and left. Now he can't look at her in the same way.

Have you watched the whole series? She came close a few times to breaking them up, and interferred a number of times. It is good at the last minute she walked away, but she did not see or want to see he was not into her until it was made crystal clear to her, by at least 2-3 people.

This woman needs to grow up and not let her emotions carry her away from reality. It's not love, it's obsession.

Dingding's just a caring person and if she could help a person be he her ex or not she'd do it. Just like Dr Ning told the story of how he's so down during his mother's funeral and it's Dingding who saved him by giving him that little cat toy she made which he kept all the time and fate brought her to him after so many years. Even Dingding couldn't remember when they met. That's why Dr Ning liked and loved her and not yiran.
