Spain fully deserved that trophy, they've been the best team throughout the tournament, no questions about that. Look whom they beat en route to the final. Defending champions Italy, silver & bronze World medalists Croatia, hosts & 3x winners Germany, World champions in 2018 and runner-ups in 2022 France... And they were never even close to being eliminated. Whilst England had a much easier bracket and had to come from behind in every single knockout match, if the ref just gave 4 mins instead of 6 mins in the last 16 game against Slovakia, you would've been going home after that match. So all you English fans shouldn't be that disappointed because of that loss, it's a miracle your team even made it to the final with that level of play.

England is the most hyped football team on earth. They only won 1 World Cup and nothing else. But their media behave like they've won most FIFA World Cups(6,7) and most UEFA Euros(5,6).

ITS NEVER COMING HOME

I'm german, but always had a soft spot for England and their footballing culture and fan culture (I mean my name makes it obvious that I support Liverpool for 2 decades now, have also been to the UK a couple of times). As soon as Germany went out, I rooted for England. As I'm living in Berlin I knew that if England get to the final, I just had to be in the city partying with the english fans and I went there (Alexanderplatz / Hackescher Markt) and the atmosphere was electric. I talked to a few people and even told them I'm german, but rooting for England etc. and I know all the songs and they welcomed me. I had such a great time, such cool people, lots of beer, loud singing and bantering. Even though England did not win it, I will never ever forget this sunday afternoon, drinking and singing with the english fans. So all I can say from a personal point of view is Thank You to your lot and I mean that from the bottom of my heart!♥♥

As in truth we were awful all tournament, Spain deserved to win the match and completely dominated us. At times Pickford was further foward than Kane..
