It comes from when production spite edited Purple Kelly from Season 21 out of the season because she walked from the season, and only gave her confessionals in 2 episodes, with them all making her sound as dumb as possible despite the fact she was a very important player to the season (as we know from post-season stuff and secret scenes).

If there was ever an lip-sync that 100000% warranted a double save, this was it! It was even better than Alyssa vs Tatianna and even that was really good too. Marcia really held well on her own against Anetra.

Never forget that Kandy and Symone got a double save but Marcia and Anetra did not.. Edit: You people miss the point of what I’m saying. It’s not about if they needed it or not, it’s about the “reality competition” aspect of the show being completely destroyed. Kandy and Symone’s lip sync was no where near as good, so it was laughable that it warranted a double save. But then this lip sync was fantastic, way better than that one, and didn’t get one. It’s just unbelievable and clearly shows production influence when you aren’t suppose to see that kinda stuff. Double saves are suppose to be for amazing lip syncs where both of the queens do an incredible job, but now it’s blatantly obvious that it’s just when production wants to keep two queens on the show for their own purposes. It defeats the whole concept of saving both of the queens because they killed it equally. That’s what I’m trying to say, that the whole “double save” tactic is preplanned and used whenever they want to keep two queens, instead of what it should be which is to keep two queens who they can’t decide to eliminate because they both did an amazing lip sync. It ruins the illusion and competitive aspect of the show, and makes it all seem fake and preplanned. That’s why it’s annoying.

I'm glad lol The double save has become so expected in recent seasons I think they learned to save it for genuine moments to keep that element of surprise. Sucks to see someone your cheering for leave but thats part of the game.

See, Robin is completely valid in how she feels. I understand being 100% comfortable in who you are and not liking change too much or stepping outside the box, however, you are on DRAG RACE. Judges expect to see variety and growth from you. They don't really like repetitiveness. Maybe that's why they sent my girl Robin home over Jax even though they both did well enough to stay imo. 😭

For Jax is was when Luxx beat both Jax and Anetra... as soon as that I happened I was like "oh they're trying to get rid of Jax". I had a suspicion when they didn't do a double pas for Anetra and Sasha (which would have made sense with the odd number), but once Luxx popped into the werk room you knew Jax was gone. I didn't predict the Spice save, but I thought if Luxx was put over both of them that Spice would have slid through.

frfr and I still am 100% convinced Jax won vs Mistress... If it was me judging I would make a double stay with anetra and sasha, Jax vs Mistress-> Jax stays and the bottom would have been Mistress, Malaysia and spice. It would have the spice save and what we all wanted, Mistress vs Malaysia

I think the only time we knew Spice was gonna be eliminated was when Ru announced she was, because she didn't lose the lip sync against Salina. Like, I don't know what happened to Salina then, because she was not her usual lip sync assassin in that performance to the point even Spice did better.

Unpopular opinion , Aura should’ve been in the bottom with Irene in the first episode. Her talent show was … really boring lol. And Irene probably could’ve sent Aura home in the lip sync.
