Can't believe I'd missed this vid - WOW and Wonderful. Yes, Wiley's voice is sweet, smooth and great - beautiful delivery of this song. Now Earl played with these boys for a little while when he was a teenager - before he left to go with Monroe & his Bluegrass Boys - so he knew 'em well.

Jim Morrison of The Doors was also on public record as being adopted. He may have been fire one off for the hometeam during World War 2. Born Dec 8th 1943. He maybe one of George's 8 brothers children?

Jamie Lynn Millard ( Last name from adoption) Morris ( Biological last name) I never had the pleasure of meeting my Grandparents George or Lois, they both passed away before I turned 18. Lois in 1972 George May 10 1987 ( might be off by a day or too.). I called my father John P. Morris for the first time, on the one year anniversary of my Grandfather's death.

I am George F. Morris and E. Lois Bryant-Morris granddaughter, who was given up for adoption in a sealed adoption, while my biological father John P. Morris was serving in Vietnam. Zeke Morris is my Great Grandfather, if I memorized the geneology correctly. :). He looks just like my biological father, John aka "Indiana Jones." My son Devon Jay Millard on his father's side is of the Algonquin and Hopi people of Turtle Island, aka North America. His birthday, 1 Corinthians 13:1-13

Wiley's got one of the most amazing voices i've heard, awesome! btw, at around 3:34 randy seems to nod toward zeke to take a solo then the video cuts and wiley starts singing again. Do you think they edited the song before releasing it on the dvd?

Wow- Nice observation. I think you are right...a mandolin solo was there. I think David Hoffman edited it because this clip is from an hour log film he made about Earl Scruggs. It is an amazing film. This footage is among the best I have ever seen.

It's possible...but personally I always tought that it's the fell of those last notes that make him nod. Earl seems to do it aswell. Surely enough anyhow the video was edited, so anything is possible.

The Morris Brothers in white shirts they were huge in the 1930s Earl Scruggs on banjo and his son Randy on the guitarEarl Scruggs was real big in the 30s and 40s and 50s 60s and 70s and 80s and his son Randy amazing guitar player he had to be 14 or 15 in this video Randy Randy Scruggs still plays music to this day the name of his band is Earl's of Leicester which got his name from Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs
