I find clones of the fresher fragrances aren't as good. They just don't quite capture the original. Clones of sweeter, darker, spicy fragrances are much better and far more often closer to 1:1. Anyone find the same?

Just got blue Seraphim. I dig it 3 minutes into my first wear. Reminds me of…..I forget the name of it….. The oud wood guy has his own brand……..it’s his first big one in that line….. Blue Agave I think it’s called. This is why popped to mind. Not 100% but in that ballpark. I like it!

I have 2 of them (White and Mega Man) and they smell great to my amateur nose lol. Very time video brother....I actually have Luciano's Coastal Breeze, California Vibe and Magnitude arriving from Fragrance Buy today so I'm looking forward to getting my nose on them. I already have the After noon Swim clone from them which I really like. Can't speak to the accuracy as I've not smelled the OG but for scent it's a winner in my book!

I have not tried Aether , but love my Greenley clone from Barrett Fragrances called Vervantaville . Imo. , about 90 % close , great performance , and high quality blend . It is sold out a lot of time , but worth waiting for !

Here’s the issue, reviewers like Ross and some others have noses that are waaaaaaay far more trained and seasoned than the average person. Reading to far into these reviews will only confuse you. Unless the people around you have noses like Ross ect ect they are not going to be able to detect the small subtle differences. These guys are 1st string starters the average person is a practice squad UDFA. Don’t get so caught up into tricking people that you are wearing the OG, chances are they aren’t going to know the difference. If it smells good to you then that’s all that matters.

If you like a fragrance, IMO just save up for it. Quality over quantity is what I learned after buying clones for years. At least buy a decant and give it a good wear before buying.
