This suit proved that comic accurate suits can be done right

i think both Tom's new suit and Andrew's TASM 2 suits are accurate to different points in spidey's history, Andrew to Ultimate, Tom to Romita/Ditko

Considering the Stark suit lasted from Civil War to Far From Home- I hope this one just becomes his default suit until Tom Holland’s eventual exit from the role. He can have story specific alternate suits like the black symbiote but otherwise I want him to always return to this

This suit is living proof that comic book suits can work in real-life

My favourite aesthetically is still the Upgraded Suit from Far From Home. Love how the black goes with the red and the white emblem on the back. It's a remix of what we all love and it does it amazingly imo.

I feel like the silver webbing pattern on The Raimi suit is good for realism as real life spiders have bright white webs where as in the comics back then you couldn't make white web lines look as good on Spidey as black ones since comics weren't as advanced in the 60s

Literally the only thing really keeping it from being perfect for me is the back spider not being closer to the classic comics or what we got in Homecoming.

Raimi suit is more a mature Spider-Man Tasm is like an ultimate and raimi mix And Tom's no way home final suit is a nice classical feel, gives that shiny fresh new feel to it

The primary thing that bugs me about the Tom Holland masks is that the lenses are embedded into the mask as opposed to placed on top. It really makes the face look less three dimensional and makes Tom's head look too much like a Spider-Man Balloon. I think Insomniac's lenses execute the same concept as Tom's in a far better way since they have more depth and curvature. Plus, we're supposed to believe that Peter doesn't wear a face shell, it really breaks immersion if his lenses clearly sit in one. They should really change up the lenses moving forward, at the very least just copying Insomniac's homework.

the only complaint I would have is unnecessary lines in blue sections and eyes could be bigger but the eyes are the same for all tom holland suits

The only thing I’d change is the back spider logo and MAYBE the type of blue but we always get a darker blue so it’s nice to see a bright, shiny blue for once

Let's be honest and real: this Spider-Man suit is a marvelous masterpiece!

Suit would've been a 10/10 if it had the homecoming/classic back emblem, for now its a 9.5/10 just for that one tiny nitpick I have with it.

There’s only two things I’d change about his new suit. One would be to not make the outline of the red parts mimic how it used to look (with the parts near the belt, chest and shoulders). Second would be to just use the stark suit back logo but without the circle it has in it. But besides that it’s perfect, and I hope the blue is shiny with the material they use Bc that would look so good

What I love about Tom's final suit is the nods to his older brother's Peter 2 and 3 and while I'm personally more of a fan of a darker shade of blue this is my favorite suit of Tom's

I'm kind of confused with the new Tom Holland suit. Some pictures show a gold Spidey symbol and others show a black symbol. I really hope it's the black symbol because the gold one just looks weird. It also just could be the lighting.

The classic Spidey back Logo would be dope as hell, but I like how he did his back Logo like his counterparts did, overall this suit's clean as hell to me 🕸️🔥👀

I've been in the minority that Tom's Spidey in general is a fantastic mix of Brian Michael Bendis and Stan Lee/Steve Ditko Spidey. MCU was always 616 soul and 1610 aesthetic, I think Tom's stories and costumes live up to this even if people don't like the Disney channel humor of Homecoming and FFH. They even homage the original print/misprint of Ditko's suit with the red, black, white spider. The straps on the stark suits give Spidey the 1610/MCU military treatment since Spidey is technically a government agent fighting for the sokovia accords. The night monkey shit is the noire suit, and the NWH homemade suit is telling audiences the transition from Ditko to Romita Sr. is coming . Aka the change in tone from high school comedy to young adult drama.

The silver webbing of the Raimy suit never bothered me at all I just felt like it was cool how it matched the color of his webs and in old comics it's just easier to make them black lines the actual webs were even black looking at times so I thought the silver was the right choice for a live action adaptation but that's just me I guess

My Ideal Spider-Man suit: Materials and Fabric from Spider-Man Ps4, an Athletic Look to compliment Spidey's Physique,Either a Mask with Mechanical Lenses or a Regular Mask (your choice) and a backup suit in case the suit gets damaged or destroyed

I think that this suit is the perfect blend of comic-accurate suits and the movie suits. It meets in the middle, and the use of the back logo (being almost the same as the front) is a testament to this Peter's inspiration from the Spider-Men he met in NWH. If we got this suit outside of NWH, it probably would have had the more beetle-esque rounder back logo

I honestly feel like this suit would look way cooler with bigger eyes , like not a complain but a thought.

If Tom's had a diff shade of blue, unused CW suit front logo & HC back logo, I'd agree. I'd also actually agree with Raimi being #2 if you used SM1 suit as opposed to the SM2/3 one.

Honestly I really like the spider logo on the front being kind of gold and kind of black. It makes him stand out and more unique. It also shows that he remembers Tony with it being gold (of course it looks gold only when the light hits it right to my knowledge).

I honestly would love to see maybe not only comparison to the comics but just a dissection and deeper thoughts on the Intergraded and far from home suit

I agree. Not only does Tom’s nwh suit have that classic vibe, but he also has those lens.

Instead of changing it on the sequels for toy selling they could: -Sell the battle damage version figure. -Make him build suits for special occasions (like a Spider armor) and sell the figures of those suits.

The webbing around the front logo also seems to have a bronze tinge meaning it must just be a yellow light reflecting....and I also love the Tasm suit

I really like the shiny blue because when being shown in a film it'll really put emphasis on Spidey when he's doing something heroic. If they get a good director he'll look incredibly cool.

Isn’t the far from home suit sort of inspired by the ditko suit? The colour scheme atleast, the red and black. Although they went for a white back logo instead of a blue logo, you could possibly talk about that.

I never thought about it until I watched this video, but the way they put those black lines over the metallic blue makes it kinda accurate to shading from the comics but also special and unique! Totally different design-wise, but similar in effect to Henry Cavill’s thin mesh blue suit laid over a silver metallic under suit to make an awesome very unique overall product

I think the TASM 2 suit edges out the Raimi suit due to the web pattern being black and having it go up the middle of his forehead like in the comics (something te Raimi suit lacks). I might be able to lean towards the 2002 suit being more accurate due to the wider white eyes and the big back logo, but I still lean more towards TASM 2 - that mask does most of the work.

I really don't understand why having suits be 100% comic accurate is such a desired thing for these movies. Shouldn't the main hope simply be that the suit is just good? That it's a cool suit that suits the character in 1 or more ways? I think this suit is great because it takes the classic suit, and alters it in ways that I think make it look so much cooler, such as changing the two logos, giving it the MCU eyes, and a lot of texture to make it more visually interesting. But it's not like it's the greatest achievement to me, or even something absolutely necessary to strive towards that it looks like the comic suit, and I don't think it should be so important to absolutely go for the comic look. Make what looks good and references the comic material, not what looks exactly accurate. If full accurate, or almost full accurate is what will make it look good, then by all means go for it, but that's not always the case.

The Raimi suit and Tom’s new suit from the ending of No Way Home are my absolute favorite, I remember being emotional when I saw it because I grew up with the animated series when I was a kid.

Raimi Spider-Man 1 suit is the best of the three movie variations. To me, it's very comic accurate. It's beautiful. I just prefer the tasm 2 outfit because it just felt right and felt like it was right out of the comics. In the comics, they'd basically just be two different takes by different artists.

A few weeks ago I just found out that it's been confirmed that the color and design of this new red and blue Spidey suit from Spider-Man No Way Home is actually based on the classic Steve Ditko Spider-Man comics. Although the only things missing are extra black web lines on the red parts of the suit and the underarm web wings. And again I totally agree that the suit suit should've kept that original back Spider symbol from the Captain America Civil War and the Spider-Man Homecoming movies.

Tom Holland is still my definitive live-action Spider-Man. I was sold on him since Homecoming and have loved all his movies ever since.

Spiderman's costume design is probably one of the most timeless designs ever existed.

This really depends on the comic inspiration they are being pulled from. If you a Stan Lee purist, Sam Raimi follow closely to Stan Lee original Run, except for the organic web shooters. But Andrew Spider Man is a Hybrid of Stan Lee and Ultimate Spider Man. But mostly Ultimate Spider Man. Tom Holland is another Hybrid of The Amazing spider Man # 529, along with All New/ All Different Spider Man. But Tom Holland Spider Man Also Has more web combination than both Spider man Versions combine along with a Utility Belt . Which also came from stan Lee run

Hey Probably Spider-man, I agree with what you said in this video. The suit is amazing and I love it! Tho I got a few things that I don't like too much, some that you already mentioned. Like the spider logo on the back feels a bit off. Again since for now this suit is all CGI and doesn't have an "official" 3D model, the suit changes a bit from an art/model to another. But sometimes the back logo feels too skinny and a bit off in my opinion, I would have prefered a more bigger and comic accurate logo like the stark suit. The other thing about it is all subjective but this suit doesn't feel like an definitive suit imo. I couldn't really explain it but it feels like something is missing to make it "definitive" or "final". I agree tho that the raimi suit is more accurate than the TASM 2 suit that are both suits I love. I think that what makes that TASM 2 is considered more accurate are the lenses and Andrew's performance wich makes the suit very expressive. For me the TASM 2 suit is very good mix of the ultimate, raimi and first TASM suit. But yeah the raimi suit is more comic accurate and the MTV spider-man series proofs it as its suit is basically the Raimi suit but with bigger lenses like the ultimate suit. But in the end all TASM 1 and 2, raimi and no way home final suits are awesome and I love them! Anyway, I hope this comment wasn't too long. Thanks for reading it until the end if you did.

I still think it's tasm 2 is crazy pure for me. I just think comic color wise achieving those vibrant colors into real life can be. In comics an illustrator can saturate their colors and achieve alot of different things and with different illustrators on the comics they had darker colors like tasm 2 with close to same proportions "the logo on tasm 2 are the only thing that knocks the suit but it still looks great. Overall in my honest opinion I would genuinely not knick or argue anyone saying either of the sam raimi, tasm 2 and now new mcu suit is the best they all look chefs kiss great
