I like this "automation" with workers in the container who actually fold the fire pipe. Quite "automatic" solution indeed!

This is Switzerland, they have the most expensive toll in Europe, 84euro per 100km for 5 axle truck, this way they save huge amount of money, despite extra weight and cost. This truck will typically drive only on road, it would drive in pair with more similar trucks and one 6x4 rigid with crane and a drawbar trailer which will load the rest of the trucks.

The ERADS system is pretty common all over the world. What the video isn't accounting for is the use case for the system. It is basically in use to provide water when there are no fire hydrants available or they will not suffice. In the Netherlands the system is known as the big water transport. As I live near the only open water in our city centre, every big fire here will result in me hardly being able to get out of my house as the hoses will block the roads near my house. Longest I have ever seen the system used was when the hoses were laid out from our end of the city centre to the other end for about two kilometers. Cars managed to break hoses three or four times during the day the system was in use.

Technik ist gut und interessant aber nach 3 bis 4 Jahren ist das alles für die Unternehmer nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit unbezahlbar, weil heute nach dem Motto gebaut wird,Was lange hält das bringt kein Geld außer für Hersteller und Werkstätten wo dann schwindelerregende Rechnungen ins Haus flattern
