I like watching your videos, I'm the owner of a body shop so I like to see how other people do things. You make these videos for "do it their selfers" or people at home with somewhat limited resources. If I can make a suggestion, can you make a video for real weekend warriors? What I mean by that is, a video that doesnt use sealers, or color blender, or clear blender spray or any of the other fancy things we use in body shops. I'm sure you dont pay for supplies since your doing this at a dealership, but its unrealistic to expect any noob to have all of these expensive supplies at their disposal. Maybe think from the others views and use the bare minimum to achieve a high quality end result with out all the luxury magic products we use in the shop.. other wise keep it up I really like watching your videos

Great point Thomas I don’t think you are a hater. It’s a great suggestion the average person DIY especially starting out don’t really have the resources or money to do things that a regular body shop would if anyone could do a video like that it’s him . My favorite auto paint channel. brother has skills 👍🏻

I have to say: I've been a mechanic for more years than some of you have been alive. I have spent hundreds of thousands on specialized tools and equipment and spent years perfecting my skills and for what? Not enough pay for the investment and time spent. bouncing from shop to shop with a tow truck for my iron. It's a thankless profession I would not do it again if I had to start over! People have no idea what is involved and always think it's too much money for that transmission overhaul after being towed in from a snow bank with bad tires. My point is the body and finder business has to look good and people will pay willingly for that. I guess it's a superficial world! I would do that(body man) rather than be a mechanic. You get more respect and make better pay and don't take home the days failure to brood over with an ever increasing amount of alcohol and finally the family moves on because of the stress or what ever! Sorry for the rant but I like your channel thanks.

I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and I love the way you shoot them talk and explain. I’m very impatient when it comes to getting information, I just want to get to the point and that’s exactly what you do I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. Watching your videos gives me the confidence to paint my own vehicle. I was on the fence but now I’m ready or at least I think I am. And hey at the end of the day it’s just paint! One love and thank you!!

Using clear base and spot blender saved my repair project! First effort was sanded down, start over. Metallic silver mixed from my local supplier didn't quite match. When I was done the second time, it no longer looked like 2 colors in one panel. Probably the single most important lesson I've learned in your channel! Blending repairs \paint s a bit of an art form in my mind. More to it than it seems. Thanks!!

Thanks for the tutorial, I think your channel is really going to help out with painting my motorcycle. Been doing a lot of rattle can jobs on it, (thank goodness I have a full extra set of fairings to practice on first) and I can paint a decent flat with a low gloss finish for that matte look, but can't do gloss worth a damn. Finally convinced the wife to let me get an air compressor so I've started looking into spray guns, and your videos make it look like even I can get a good finish as a sorta beginner painter. Keep up the good work man, looking forward to watching more of your stuff

Man, I could hug you. The very most important statement; "It's just paint! If you mess up, sand it down and start over!" I don't know why your channel doesn't have 1 million subscribers, but it should, perhaps way more! I'm still a rattle gun painter because I don't have a shop or booth to paint in, plus my neighbors will kill me if I start working towards pro status like you. My dad was a body man many moons ago, and his mentality was the same; "Don't over think it. Just paint it!"
