Explanation of the HYBE situacion: HYBE labels did not became an american label, but they do own now a part of an american label, just like they do of some korean labels. BTS is under bighit music along with TXT , big hit and a lot of other companies are under HYBE. HYBE can run these companies, but the companies are independent from each other.

As a long term ARMY when I saw that they were rebranding and giving shares to the boys, I felt that it was also good (in addition to another comment by Army Barmy) because we all know that Bang Sihyuk's passion is aesthetics and music production. It's like if Yoongi started a company and it became a success. He'd work as a CEO for the sake of making the company succeed, but he'd step down to be a producer as soon as he can. I feel like Mr Bang is the happiest in this position, so I didn't really doubt it one second. It made a lot of sense in my mind, musicians just wanna be musicians in the end. 💜

Girl, you definitely need to watch some baby Bangtan videos -- they were soooo good right out of the gate!!!! I see some people have already explained about HYBE....personally, I think it's better for BTS. Bang PD made SURE to put some things in place before stepping down as CEO that as far as I can see, gives BTS members much more control over what they do, how they do it, etc. He knows their worth and he wasn't going to leave them in a bad position. He even made sure they were gifted an insane amount of stock in the company so now they are shareholders. There is soooo much to digest and watch about these guys....it takes time....but it is ALL worth it. And don't worry...they have stated more than once that they will continue to do Korean songs - I don't understand all the concern...they had been doing songs in 3 different languages for years. No one is griping that they put out entire ALBUMS in Japanese....43:48 - this mv is for the song N.O.

Hybe is basically a corporation. Hit man said big hit didn’t fit what they’re were trying to do and their global reach. So in a way Hybe is the major company but under hype is Big hit, other labels/companies that hype bought, other ventures. Big Hit entertainment didn’t sound right to him because he was buying labels and making other ventures into film/merch/buying profits/other labels etc. hope that makes sense so big hit is still a thing but under a major HYBE. Which is more a multi platform/purpose company

Just my opinion but I think HYBE rebranding is a good thing. We know that BTS are the ones who built the company but Bang PD wanted to make sure that the company will continue once the boys decide to retire from the limelight. They're all part owners in the company once it went public and that stock is worth millions for each member.

Bang PD chose to step down from the CEO position so he could focus on producing music, which is what he originally did; it's where his nickname "Hitman" Bang came from (because he had a tendency to produce HIT songs). He basically turned over the reins of the overall management in order to keep working closely with the artists. :)

Lmfao, that self check when you started fawning over V's introduction 😆😆😆😆 The thing that's so easy to get lost in in this documentary when he's throwing so much info at you is that they released FOUR ALBUMS in one year after they debuted. That's 28 full length songs. EXCLUDING intro's, outro's, and interludes. Which are sometimes little short songs in themselves. Isn't that just friggin nuts? They released basically 2 albums per year all the way up through 2019. It's insane. PLUS Japanese albums that they rerecorded a lot of the songs in Japanese, and usually made one or two full length original Japanese songs for those albums as well. Meanwhile for a lot of normal artists I'm used to listening to, it's more like 2-4 years between albums.

Dark and wild is still a fandom favourite until now and they record that in a garage, iconic. And for me personally hyyh/most beautiful moment in life album trilogy is still my most favourite bts album series. Yes, korean love spring day and everytime bts have a new album you'll see spring day also climbing the chart along with new songs that's why we call her a queen and suga said spring day is like a zombie that'll never die😂. But i guess it's also because spring day is an unofficial tribute song for the sewol ferry tragedy :(

I know there are sooo many songs and music videos for you to react to, but I really want you to one day begin reacting to the Rise of Bangtan on KZfaq. It’s an amazing fan made docu-series highlighting their journey from pre-debut in so much detail. It’s a great way for you to learn more about them and even discover new music that you might not have ordinarily heard or gotten recommended. Apart from that there’s the BTS Hardships video (2021) by xceleste that highlights their past hardships and struggles over the years. That would also be good for you to see. Brace yourself tho cause it still triggers me every time I watch it😂. Maybe count to 10 or something. Yeah and the rise of bangtan can be something you dive into on your patreon and if you want to start their other shows like Run BTS (funny variety show), Bon voyage (travelling reality show) In the Soop (staycation reality show due to the pandemic restricting travel). If you want some more order to things, you can make your KZfaq more for music and then your patreon for other things since some reactions might get blocked for whatever reason. Just a suggestion😋. Borahae💜💜💜

As others have said, The Rise of Bangtan series is excellent. It uses multiple kinds of footage - MVs, vlogs, backstage clips, interview clips, performance highlights, etc. - to give you a sense of what it was like to be a fan from pre-debut onward in chronological order. As far as how & in what order to react to their music, I don't believe that there's one "right way;" it's really up to your preference. It's probably more than a little overwhelming to try & figure out how to go about it. Since you're excited to hear it all, one method would be to listen to the albums in order alongside The Rise of Bangtan series - easily the best way to comprehensively experience their evolution as artists and people over time. You seem to really enjoy analyzing their artistic, narrative & aesthetic choices, so exploring the Bangtan Universe would also be a logical choice, bearing in mind that it's voluminous, so it might delay you from reacting to both their earliest & most recent stuff. One last thing I'll say is that I subscribed after watching your Blood, Sweat & Tears reaction. It was obvious that you immediately, "got it," and weren't just faking it for views. You took your time to really absorb and analyze the music, lyrics, dance & visuals + your analysis was in-depth & insightful. So, my small suggestion would be to start by doing an album reaction to Wings. - 1st, you already have the spark of Blood, Sweat & Tears, so it'll be amazing for you to experience it in context. - 2nd, the Wings album is partly connected to the BU, so you can sort of expand outward from the album into the larger narrative. - 3rd, the Wings album as a whole (with the exception of a few songs + the first fan-dedicated song), is thematically centred around the novella, "Demian," by Hermann Hesse while also interweaving both the fictional BU & solo songs by each member. In addition to the MVs for Blood, Sweat & Tears and Boy Meets Evil, there are seven short art films that correspond to each of the members' solo songs. Through Demian, they allegorically draw on the same 19th century German late-Romanticism aesthetics & themes as BST, as well as a handful of songs that touch on S. Korean politics and some of the challenges that BTS were facing at the time. Anyway, sorry for the absurdly long comment - I guess your enthusiasm is contagious.

Actually Seo Taiji and Boys was the very first K Pop group that formed in 1992. BTS actually performed with them on their 25th anniversary concert. I would like to provide some links with MV's, live performances, with English subtitles for most of them. I can send them to you in an email if you want. Just let me know. I have a comprehensive list of their songs from pre-debut to now, listed by Era, and each album comeback. If you want, I can send it to your email. By the way, they are playing in Seoul, South Korea right now, and they will be playing a 4 day sold out concert in Las Vegas, NV. I have my ticket for day 4. The tickets are sold out, but if you have the money, you might be able to get resale tickets through Ticketmaster, or you can stream day 4 on April 16, 2022. WEVERSE is where you go to purchase the livestreams, but the Las Vegas stream hasn't gone on sale yet. You can purchase a live stream ticket for tomorrow's Seoul, South Korea concert though. Anyway, thanks for your reaction. Blackpink is with YG Entertainment, and they debuted in 2016. I started with Blackpink, but I resonate with BTS' messages and their music style. Thank you for the reaction. let me know if you want the list.

Welcome to the fandom, fam. Calling you fam coz I can see ARMY in you, while watching this reaction. Hope you enjoy this journey as much as we do, even more hopefully💜. And about Hybe, it is Bighit Entertainment (the empire that BTS and Bighit made) that got rebranded as Hybe corporation to expand the company and its global reach. So now Bighit ent. is known as Bighit Music, a subsidiary of Hybe labels along with other subsidiaries including the US one, that Hybe acquired after rebranding. But still Bighit is a independent company no matter how much it got expanded as Hybe labels. And Bang PD (Founder of Bighit and HYBE) is a chair man of HYBE corporation.

please react to bts hardships 2013 - 2021 by xceleste and bbygangmags videos on bts and kpop and wanted to add onto what other comments said about hybe/bighit. bighit is still its own label and hitman bang aka bang pd the former bighit ceo did something to protect bighit artists before going public and becoming hybe the correct terminology is slipping my mind right now but basically no matter what hybe does no one under hybe can touch bts music or decisions as bts and other bighit artists are protected so even if people buy stocks they have very little if any influence on bts at all. and bts members themselves were allowed to buy stocks first before the label went public and turned into hybe. bts are the main bread winners for the entire corporation so while they are artists they are business partners with hybe so we dont need to worry about them or their creative freedom or rules that affect them etc. any rules you have heard about the kpop industry do not apply to bts and even when bts first debut in 2013 those rules didnt really apply maybe a few restrictions when they were minors cause kids need some form of rules but after they all became of age they barely have any rules or restrictions for anything. they have say in everything they do what brands and commercials they endorse, what songs they want to make, the style of songs who sings what parts etc they all choose that themselves they told us this many times. they have full creative control and own the copyrights to many of their songs they choose writers and producers and majority of the time theyre writing and producing themselves. same with outfits and choreography they all have to agree no staff, managers or anyone in the label can force them to do anything its all their choices. i just wanna make that clear because theres many stereotypes and misinformation that goes around about bts but also about the korean music industry in general. there are some groups or artists who have restrictions or no creative freedom but its never been a one size fits all every label in korea is different. bang pd wanted to create a label that worked differently from the rest giving his artists full creative control over their music and as they grew in age so limits lessened on the few rules they had example curfews they also had to factor in practice and recording schedules plus all of bts members finished school from elementary to middle to high school to college they continued their education even now many of them are in college getting their masters and jungkook just graduated last month with his bachelors so rules were important when they were much younger. many hear rules and think the worst right away but some are necessary. as for the rest of kpop i cant speak on them cause i dont know much but ive heard and read the horror stories which was a contribution to why bighit was created cause he wanted change in the industry and people seeing bts success have actually made progress within the overall industry allowing many more artists to have some creative freedom and less rules but its case by case. hopefully this long comment was helpful in some way. you dont gotta worry about bts basically to sum it up regardless of what hybe does bts will always be bts also you may or may not have been curious about this but bts does NOT have a dating ban theyre allowed to date if they want to they all simply choose not to or choose not to publicly as theyre all already very private people when it comes to their family and friends who arent in the industry. so dont believe that theyre stopped from dating or whatever media says theyre not they never had that restriction except when they were minors first starting out the same way parents say you cant date until you reach a old enough age for many kids. but yeah like they have tattoos they curse they can date theyre grown men with autonomy not puppets like how western media portrays. :)

I love your reactions, you are very intelligent! I'm going to give you my opinion on the topic of BTS's record company. It's an opinion and I hope I don't offend anyone. Hybe is the main label, and is from Korea, in turn BTS belongs to BigHit Music, under HYbe Label. Hybe also develops this business globally. I think that these decisions to enter other markets make business growth, in turn BTS preserves its identity, and continue to produce music in their language and I also suppose they will do some more in English, but not mostly. As artists, each of them feeds on a lot of western music and of course they don't forget their roots. They are all very intelligent, and all seven of them have a university degree for this career they are developing. The last one to get it was JKook, of course he is the youngest of them.((sorry if n is well written I used a translator)

If you react to “Film out” you should reach to the live version since the MV has sound effects that sometimes overshadow the vocals.

Hybe like other company in the world of capitalism. They have vision to dominate content creation media not only in music. In South Korea MNet and Naver way bigger than any music label. Hybe try to compete with them now, even they cooperate with YG for certain thing in their business. They bought or invest several music label including Ithaca Holding in America. BTS still under BigHit and BigHit is one of several company under Hybe. How rich Bang PD now.....
