I agree that blocking after the song is done is a weird rule. I’m fine with blocks during the song because I personally find it funny and the US version only have one block so they have a chance of getting something maybe even better than the blocked artist, but after the song is done, blocking someone is just brutal

Just once I would like to see a contestant ask who blocked the coach they wanted.. then when they find out, they don't choose the "blocker' because of it. :o)

The block button is the whole reason I stopped watching the Voice. It shouldn't be about the judges. It should be about the contestants, and the contestants should have the choice to pick whichever judge they actually want, not be forced into a choice they don't want

I've never understood why Kelly never notices the red light on the stage behind the singer which indicates she's been blocked. Maybe she's so focused on them that it takes seeing "Blocked" on the floor to alert her.

Das ist die schlechteste Idee so einen Knopf. Ein Coach dreht sich um um ein Talent zu bekommen, ein andere will das damit verhindern. Der Knopf ist nur dazu da wenn man keine Argumente mehr hat warum das Talent zu einem kommen soll.

The “block buttons” are unfair. Each contestant probably has a favorite judge that they hope will turn but when that judge does turn and gets blocked by another judge, the contestant is penalized. KC thinks she’s so funny when she blocks but look closer you’ll see the disappointment on the contestant’s face because they would have picked the judge who got blocked.

The worst version of block button are in Portugal and Australia, when the coaches block too way after the other coach shows his/her intention of give the talent. These are the real unfair thing, as Keith and Aurea showed at these moments.

Creo que el bloqueo más épico es el que Antonio le hace a Fonsi cuando Beatriz canta "No me doy por vencido" (en la misma edición de La Voz España que seleccionaron acá), creo que se merece una versión full de por qué lo bloqueó: "Por que te quiero!!" ... Salud y saludos desde Venezuela!!! I think the most epic block is the one that Antonio does to Fonsi when Beatriz sings "Yo no me doy por vencido" (in the same edition of La Voz España that was selected here), I think it deserves a full version of why he blocked Luis: "Because I love you!!" ... But if they're really deserving and talented, it shouldn't matter what coach they have. All the coaches are on the show for a reason, so it's not like they're going to steer someone in the wrong direction even if their typical genre/voice/style doesn't match the talent perfectly.

Blocking is mean and stupid. It robs the contestant of a choice- often their favorite or most logical choice.

I hate the block button because it deprives the contestant of the opportunity to work with a blocked coach. I’ve seen it many times just on the American version of The Voice. In my opinion, they need to get rid of it. It’s nothing more than a silly marketing ploy used by the producers to boost their show’s TV ratings.

Blocks are the worst part of the show. The judges don't get anything extra for having the winning artist, so just let the artist pick whichever judge works best for them of the ones who turned around.

Blocks should never be aloud. Or at least the contestant should be able to select any Judge that turns. I keep hoping The Voice/AGT/BGT get a contestant that says no thanks. There has been lot of talk about the control 'the show" has over what actually gets to air and how much the contestants are set up to present as required. Don't like to hear that at all.

I love the concept of the voice but i hate the block feature. What if a contestent had theor heart set on somebody, what if the blocked judge is a better coach for their talent. It just seems like a very selfish tool for the judges to use
