I absolutely blazed through punisher this wipe. I went super cheap, only adding the barrel mount for lasers and the cheap dovetail thing for scopes. Served me fairly well on woods, reserve, and shoreline. But I could feel the ergo penalty and close range engagements required me to hipfire with the laser - scoping in with a 1X tac30 nearly always killed me, but I could still tap pretty fast with it at 4x. Gl all standard grinding chads

I just finished my Punisher 6 yesterday. I needed 1 kill for... so many raids. The epsilon is beautiful :')

punisher part 6 and setup are either the easiest or most tedious tasks, i think this build is gonna make punisher a little more enjoyable tho thx 😂😂

For my 15 kills I used 8 SVD modded like Gods and by dying I finished the quest with an old ugly mod SVD with 50% durability loot on my scav. In the end my trash SVD brought me 13 of 15 kills and he never jam. It shot straighter than a new gun! Moding is good but it's not worth modding Meta. Good ergo, good feeling and everything gonna be good to realize this quest.

I’ve been running this abomination since I got access to prapor 3. T-46m is cheap, reduces my malfunction chance quite a bit, still has a 90% chance to pen level 4, and 2 hit kills are still pretty high

Nice summary. Ive seen youre using the Zagustin stim for an emergency bleed stop. Id actually recommend the ahf1-m over it as it basicly does the same but instead of using 56 hydro it only uses 36 and typiclly costs a little bit less.

4:10 iirc, from my experience the from previous wipe, with the more floaty scopes, like pk-06 or MRS, you loose the sight picture at higher recoil, as your LoS is not as "firmly attached to the sight's reticle", so your LoS doesn't follow the barrel much as it gets kicked up by the recoil, so it stayes pointed more more or less where it was. The tradeoff is that, instead of loosing the sight picture from high enough recoil, you loose your reticle. Which is nice for low aimed fire rate semi-auto weapons, but is kinda bad for full-auto, or even high aimed fire rate semi-auto (since your point of aim is much further from and is more unstable relative to the center of your screen)

I played a pretty similar build, silenced with 40+ ergo. I was lucky enough not to die too many times, but even a new prapor gun with all added parts excluding the scope (I just slapped some Valday, TAC30 or Elcan onto it, that I had in my stash) cost me a maximum of 180k roubles. It is still a very satisfying gun for mid-long range shots, but cqb with only 10 round mags were a real pain most of the times. Each update I'm hoping for some additional late-game modding options for it, though. It would be great if it could at least compete with some of the late game 7.62x51 DMRs.

If you need flashdrives you should just raid on woods a few times. Sometimes there's even a double flashdrive spawn in the tent. Many people don't know about it. (I found about 15 flashdrives this wipe)

I was just about to start punisher 4 with an svd when i saw this video, guess i'll be stockpiling svds and ergo modding them for the future.

I've done my Punisher 6 this wipe by mostly using SVDs I've picked up from sniper scavs. I've just ran in on woods and sniped people in the face, the only modding I did was adding a scope.

Don’t overmod svds for quests unless u have rouble. Stock svd or u can put a laser on it and that’s about it

For Punisher, get a blue laser, stick it on the front and go factory. IDK what ammo you would need now, but I used SNB in the past and you typically just melt people

I just need one more PM pistol before I can start this quest. When I do I'm just going to put a PSO on it and treat it like a bolt action and go for shooter born kills.

I found that using a recoil build build worked better but my play style is point firing at close range.

If you click assemble and then buy parts it only shows the parts you need to buy so you don't have to unclick parts that you already have. You probably know that but just in case i want to point that out.

I use the chassis thing and that allows for a foregrip thats +10 ergo and still really cheap, also i use one of the full size ar stocks, forgot the name on that too but i did use the emod for a while for its ergo and tiny bit of recoil reduction

Note: standard edition players can upgrade to the Beta container (3x2) once they reach XP level 15 and unlock the flea market. For me the upgrade from 2x2 to 2x3 is significant as I can then carry a Surv12.

GIGABEEF!!! Does this mean that convergence is the same speed for a base gun and one with recoil mods? and that all that modding basically only reduces the muzzle rise? you would think they work hand in hand...

personally i just use the stock svd with the russian acog

Wiki doesn't list it as I think it's sorta made up, but heard people talking about it for the first time today and, of course, there are Reddit posts about it. Sounds kinda like what you were talking about in your recoil video where the higher cyclic rate leads to more climb. Just wondered if you had some input on the subject since the sources I found are rather dubious, imo.

put a basalask stock on 7k rub and -35% recoil +3 ergo makes it slower but better to use in my opinion

I was doing well at pvp until this quest. I have lost every fight since trying to use this gun. Even when I get a solid 3-4 hits on their chest with SNB, BT or PS...wth am I doing wrong.
