@@smakerr When he first said anime I thought, oh it's Nathan Explosion from Metalocalypse, I can kinda see that? But then he went with One Piece and I think that's where his wires got crossed. It might be one of the bad guys from Naruto he's thinking of, possibly, and his brain made the leap to Light Yagami as a name he knows is from anime but... honestly, I got nothin' but conjecture here.

@@ZeroSleap My understanding of Ye Olde Greek/Latin (I'm not Greek for what it's worth lol) was that there wasn't really any differentiation between 'upper' and 'lower' cases in the way we think of it now, but mostly whether it was carved or written by hand. Like the formal carvings we see on buildings, or something like a codex, would use the majuscule (word of the day) scripts, and then more casual papyrus/parchment writings and notes tended to be miniscule scripts since the shapes flow more quickly with a pen. Then eventually this turns into more rigid rules for upper/lowercase as manuscripts become more common and people leave the fancy big letters for the beginnings of paragraphs/sentences. Anyway...
