Rules are easy, game is hard. You should firstly pot a red ball, than Black, blue or others. If you hide the ball behind the Black or blue or else, the shot is good because your opponent will play next, so he cant be able to reach any Red ball

Jamie Cope, (the guy who did the long plant into the corner pocket) developed a tremor in his cue arm and was forced to abandon the sport in 2017. Im glad he is remembered in you tube compilations. One of the most beautiful shots I have ever seen.
@grantfoster88332 жыл бұрын
I've played him on a table he owns at longton snooker club, stoke-on-trent. I say played, I broke off 🤷🏼♂️ he's still extremely good, it's a shame he's no longer able to compete at the very highest level..

@@basilsini9739 he was in a very difficult situation and was likely to leave his opponent a good chance on his return to the table. His clever shot ensured that didn't happen
@tzatzikisundae3 жыл бұрын
@@basilsini9739 it's very hard to play a safety here that doesn't leave one of the reds available for the opponent. Ideally you'd probably want to play a soft shot here to put the cue ball near the reds in bottom left. However, the yellow ball is blocking that avenue. This shot was not only a clever idea on how to put the red there in a different way, but also technically difficult (the rotation he played here is not easy to pull off with this much control).

Well yeah. There are only 27 possible points on the table and he needed 30 to win. So he had to force his opponent to make a foul. And you do that by making it impossible for them to hit the "ball-on" (in this case it's yellow, because it's end of the frame).

If you know anything about pool you should pickup on it pretty easily. Most of these shots are defensive and the goal is to either hide from a cherry and once all of those are gone hide them from the lowest value ball on the table because I think you have to make them lowest to highest in value.
