Hurts coming off the bench and leading that comeback after Tua got injured is the best college football moment of my lifetime if you ask me.

Definitely, I actually was more emotional after this game than the 2nd & 26 game. I remember how 2018 was supposed to finally be Georgia’s year and it looked like Kirby was finally going to beat Saban. Then Jalen comes off the bench against the same opponent, in the same stadium he was benched in January, and puts on the game of the year.

Did you ever try and sell something to your parents, where what you did, you were successful, but it was high risk? "But, I did it, didn't I?" What was their response. Saban's onside kick at that point was an incredibly stupid play, regardless the outcome. Both teams had held the other to two 3 and outs or at most 6 plays. There was no reason to panic. But Saban did. Worked out, but just plain stupid.
@dsmxtuner95

@@mas5867 it really wasn't. If you rewatch that clip the announcers even mention that Clemson had been leaving a gap in coverage against the sideline for a while leading up to that game. It was something that more than just Saban had noticed and was a calculated play call 100%. Griffith had even practiced specifically for that scenario and executed it flawlessly.

"* Heard nothing about leaving a gap up to that game. Kirkstriet said, "all night" Like the botched fake punt against TX 09, at the point in the game an onside kick was not a smart move. Statistically onside kicks were successful 23% of the time in 2015. 77% chance to give Dabo a short field.

On further review. AL was clearly offsides on that play. Fowler even says AL was close to being offsides. See it at 2:35:47 *"2015-16 CFP National Championship - #2 Alabama vs. #1 Clemson (HD)"* Use cog and slow the play down to .25 The kicker's plant foot is beyond the 35 yd line when he kicks it. I cannot wait until they stop refusing to use video evidence on ANY play to reverse plays. Thanks for mentioning it. 2015 was Saban's only legit NC and now, even that game has questions.

@@downsouthhighlights It's not just about that game. It's the fact that Saban has literally had everything handed to him on a silver platter. Dude either has college football under a mind trick or he's got some real dirt on important people. I only say this because the system is literally engineered for Bama to win. If everyone in charge had their way, Bama would win every year. The problem is that Saban is overrated and sometimes can't even win when refs and everyone else do their best to make sure he does

@@christaylor3604 - in 2015, Bama beat them by 28 in Athens when UGA was a 4 point favorite. Last year was a 17 point win with Bama pitching a 21-0 shutout in the second half. I wouldn’t exactly call that “neck and neck”.

@christaylor3604 2 жыл бұрын
@@aeromedical6750 Yeah I’m more referring to the championship games. In 2012 when it was neck and neck and UGA was mere yards from winning. In 2017 where UGA was leading the whole game and went into overtime and came down to a single play. In 2018 when UGA was once again leading the game and lost by a single touchdown. I would call all of the championship games neck and neck.
@aeromedical6750
@aeromedical6750 2 жыл бұрын
@@christaylor3604 - what you lose by is immaterial. A three point loss counts as much in the loss column as a 21 point loss. There are no moral victories in championship games. Georgia hasn’t demonstrated the mental toughness to close the deal against Alabama. On 3 different occasions in the 2017 National Championship game, UGA had the ball, with a 14 point lead, in the second half and still couldn’t close it out. They are a great 30 minute team against Bama. Their problem is that the game actually lasts 60 minutes.
