Definitely, I actually was more emotional after this game than the 2nd & 26 game. I remember how 2018 was supposed to finally be Georgia’s year and it looked like Kirby was finally going to beat Saban. Then Jalen comes off the bench against the same opponent, in the same stadium he was benched in January, and puts on the game of the year.

Did you ever try and sell something to your parents, where what you did, you were successful, but it was high risk? "But, I did it, didn't I?" What was their response. Saban's onside kick at that point was an incredibly stupid play, regardless the outcome. Both teams had held the other to two 3 and outs or at most 6 plays. There was no reason to panic. But Saban did. Worked out, but just plain stupid.

@@mas5867 it really wasn't. If you rewatch that clip the announcers even mention that Clemson had been leaving a gap in coverage against the sideline for a while leading up to that game. It was something that more than just Saban had noticed and was a calculated play call 100%. Griffith had even practiced specifically for that scenario and executed it flawlessly.

@@christaylor3604 - what you lose by is immaterial. A three point loss counts as much in the loss column as a 21 point loss. There are no moral victories in championship games. Georgia hasn’t demonstrated the mental toughness to close the deal against Alabama. On 3 different occasions in the 2017 National Championship game, UGA had the ball, with a 14 point lead, in the second half and still couldn’t close it out. They are a great 30 minute team against Bama. Their problem is that the game actually lasts 60 minutes.
