I stumbled onto your channel and I'm loving it. I'm going to tackle the paint on my 1970 Mustang, and through your channel I've gained so much confidence. More specifically the order of operations, especially with jambs, and the two tone stripe I'll be applying. Keep up the amazing content, and Thank You!

I'm a Honda master technician of 11 years and I'm going to paint my project truck soon. I wanted to let you know that your videos are very helpful. I like your teaching style. Straight to the point and not condescending like some guys in the automotive industry. I teach younger technicians in the same manner. Keep up the good work!

All these vids are awesome and very useful, I have been painting for years now and I wish Brian was around when I started, such valuable information and very clear and easy to follow. I'm hitting a car with silver tomorrow and was dreading it but after watching his vid on silver metallic I'm actually looking forward to it, Thanks Brian and cheers from the land down under.

The #1 thing I picked up was to let it flash properly so that it doesn't keep soaking it up. Total ah ha moment! Thanks Brian.

Hi Mr Brian I'm a 20 + years painter and I have all respect in what you're doing to help in showing young painter and your diy guys. On tips for painting and setting up spray guns. I've watched some of your videos and I think they were very good and helpful. But when it comes to blending pearl's you and I know they can be hateful lol. But I'm so glade that you made this video so people can see the work that we professional painter have to do to make there cars look as good as the do. It's not just buying a $500 iwata and think your going to have a professional paint job. It's the years of long hard work and training that we put in to get as good as we are. Thanks again and keep up the good work....

Another great video, i paint furniture for a living, spraying it, but after watching your videos i have had the confidence to paint my bonnet and back doors on my ford custom van including knocking out some big dents, the bonnet is finished and looks amazing I will be finishing the rear doors today, all work carried out by my apollo 5 stage turbine, like you mine came with a 1.3 needle set up and i had to colour sand the clear coat but now i have a .8 and 1. Set up to try today,, was always scared of metallic but it looks amazing, and its all been done out side,, i live near london

Brian, love your channel and it has been immensely helpful in my getting up to a standard I'm now reasonably proud of. What attracted me to the title of this video, was common mistakes. And for me the biggest problem I found for a DIY working in a less than ideal environment has been .... Dirt and bugs, how to minimize it, accepting it is a fact of life.

Some good information here. Also I find it helpful to watch your spray technique. Keep it clean, build it up in layers, leave some area to blend, let it flash and vapor off. I can do this. Thanks Brian.
