Just clarifying: Younis/Yunis/Yunus, while sounding really similar to Yohanan, is actually a different prophet. In Hebrew he's Yonah (means "dove"), in Arabic he's Yunus/Yunis, and in some European languages he's Jonas.

In those countries, you will find that in their Bibles, people like "'JOHN' the Baptist" are written in or referred to in many of those forms mentioned but I do not think there is a single 'Quran' that mentions "Mhmd S.A.W" in forms like "Ahmad", or "Mahmoud" and people do not easily refer to the Islamic prophet with those names either despite them being relatively formal than forms like "Johnny" or "Juanito".
