Everyone always laughed at me for picking Zatanna when I played them. They stopped laughing when I destroyed them.

I always thought she was one of the most underrated NRS characters. Played well, she had a ton of options from almost any situation.

I've played injustice for a long time & I still have no idea how to face or play this character. She just hurts my brain watching her gameplay.

My goodness I loved playing with her, she had such fun options with cross ups and that dive kick was magic, i didn't win em all but I could tell the frustration my opponents would have because of how weird she was

The inclusion of stream/tourny footage is a nice touch when possible for the videos. Probably goes into the extra research category of trying to find content from a while back to line up, but regardless an awesome touch to an already awesomely produced video. Thanks UnderDawg!

She was my FAVORITE character in Injustice 1!! Most of her combos rellys too much on metter but they were so cool. This video makes it look like she was OP but she's not. Althought she has really good mixups, her trait was kinda useless against most of the cast. I hope she's back in Injustice 3.

Recently discovered your channel, and I've been binge watching all of your older videos from 2-3 years ago. I've only ever played the Injustice series for just a little bit, but man your documentary style is really entertaining to watch. Really great stuff!

A couples weeks ago IJ1 was free on the PS Store so I got it because I never got a chance to play it. I immediately picked up Zatanna and was honestly shocked and the tomfoolery she could do. And apparently she's not even top tier. Im afraid of the blasphemy the top tiers can do.

I find this funny When she does her smoke and mirrors move Look at how the screen handles it. You could tell a bit. What if she jump cross-ups the screen will move. If she is gonna jump In front of you the screen will lock like normal. If you practice that small detail it could help. (This is all in theory btw)

I'm surprised he didn't go over her crazy special projectile. IIRC it did 15% on chip damage when blocked. From what I remember from injustice when(besides it being a hawkgirl vs superman fest) was that zatana was crazy broken one release

Never played injustice so I can’t comment on this character directly but, as you described it, her craziest special is the same as modok’s jamming bomb from umvc3. I remember having to try and block teleport/assist mixups while jammed in that game and it was essentially a dead character against any good player as it just wasn’t possible to maintain your defense long enough for the jam to go away. And god help you if they snapped out your jammed character to kill a different one first. Having them come back into the game while still jammed was basically game over. I’d have to imagine that zatana’s special was roughly the same experience, although maybe slightly easier to deal with since you didn’t have to worry about assists. I love dirty stuff like this in fighting games and based on the videos you’ve put out about some of the characters recently, I may have to actually try out injustice 3 when it eventually comes out.

This is what NRS gets right with Injustice that they dont with MK, character variety and creativity! MK everyone is decent at everything except the two things they excel at. In injustice (almost) everyone is great at 1 or 2 things but suck at everything else.
