This is actually quite intersting, as the safest spot for your King is to be right beside the enemy King.

1.Nf3, f6 was good but after 2.e3,Nc6 you did a blunder, what white nedded to do was Ng5 trying to go to f7, but if you take there is 4.Qh7+, g6 (unic move) 5.Qd5 so mate is unstopabble threatning Qh7# or Qxd7# by exploting the king. And yes, I'm a paid actor.

@@FoxSlyme it blunders m8 in 4. first go Nd4 and black is forced to take it, then go Qa4, b3, Qe4 and then you are attacking two places at once and you win(as white).

1. Nf3 2. f6 3. e3 4. Nc6 5. Ng5 if you take the Knight: 6. fxg5 7. Qh5+ 8. g6 9. Qd5 10. d6 11. Qf7+ 12 Kd7 13. Qxe7S if you don't take and play for example: 6. Nb4 7. Nf2 8. Nxc2 9. Nxd8S There is one line though where you didn't get checkmated by force but loose most of your pieces and have an very open/bad position: 6. d5 7. Nf7 8. Qd7 9. Nd6+ 10. Qxd6 11. Qh5+ 12. g6 13. Qxh7 Here you are (only) a knight, a rook and one pawn down but it is very hard to stop the past pawn on the h-file. Both sides have not much developement but your pawns are a little bit overextended and there is basically no way to develope your remaining rook fast enough to stop the h-pawn. You can only capture it with your g-pawn, or your bishop which opens the way for the white h-rook to infiltrate the back rank.

It's not hidden at all, because it's his first game, it starts at , then he won so he gained some points. That's not his ELO in real chess, just in atomic variant.

while i direct check must be blocked, an indirect check (attacking pieces and pawns around the king) can be ignored and the opponent can take the king. Tho alot of new players miss m8 or indirect checks

Taking a piece kills both pieces (as well as surrounding non-pawn pieces). This is also why kings can touch -- a king can't ever capture anything as it would kill himself too.
