I have been a blue water sailor for over 60 years..... I have extreme respect for all oceans and waterways. But I think I will pass on this passage. I'm to old and have nothing to prove.

I remember that scene in "The Bounty". Wherein Captain Bligh (Anthony Hopkins). Announces that they are sailing "round the Horn" Much to the Chagrin of his crew.

Some times in my old navy days (1957)+ it used to be calm with just huge rollers, Most times it was a bit of a B****T***d
